Wasn't there a Robots in Disguise/Car Robots team of Autobot 'Constructicons'?

 

I don’t think they did the comic version either.

 

The Build Team? Yeah. It had Wedge(bulldozer), Grimlock(excavator), Heavy Load(dumptruck), and Hightower(crane).



They were released in their original colors, then repainted yellow in Universe, then they were repainted into the actual Constructicons.



There were also plans to repaint Combiner Wars Devastator into the Build team, with Heavy Load being replaced by G1 Landfill, and Quickmix and Scoop would have made up the remaining three members.

There never was a red version of Wedge, and to my knowledge there never was a red version of Bonecrusher outside of Movie Rampage.

 

Could someone point me to place to buy the original colored H25 Herbie H26 Vanishing Point set? Or is there a possibility of a re-release in the original colors? I've just recently become interested in third party figures so I really have no idea what the market is like or how it works when it comes to these companies. I only see the transparent versions on sites like BBTS or TFsource. There appears to only be one set on ebay, but it's in China and I'd rather buy in the us if possible to save on potential shipping issues or long wait times.

 

If they made them I'd expect a redisgn with better proportions like the cartoon.

They were re-issued a few months ago and are starting to dry up now, but it looks like Baba has it up for pre-order again. So, maybe there will be another release but it may not go to every retailer like their other low profile small re-issue runs

Thanks for the link! It looks like I'll have no choice other than to get from China at this point. I don't see a price listed there, but I'll assume about $70 since it's free shipping and that's what I've seen them go for on other sites.

 

He has all the other colours for those figures around $58-$62 (NewAge H25B The Nest Goldbug & H26B Shaun Cliffjumper Set of 2 Shattered Glass Version mini) so probably around $60-ish but yeah maybe up to $70. If it shows up at American retailers it'll probably be a month or so after China and you'll have to keep an eye out

 

@Sarrow the thing is with 3p, if you order from stores in the states, they get them a few weeks later and you pay roughly $15-20 more. Ordering from China isn't as bad as it seems, last order of legends ratchet and mirage I made from Bombusbee arrived in 6 days!!! but typically overseas shipments take about 10-14 days to arrive, they ship upon release and are much cheaper than domestic shops.

 

Well I could deal with 2 weeks, that's not too bad. In this case I wouldn't worry much about shipping damage either since the packages would be small.

What do you guys think about aliexpress for transformers? I've heard of them before but never bought from the site. I don't use Aliexpress much but I think that's the real Bombusbee store so it should be fine. It's sold out on their website but a lot of Chinese retailers have different stock at different places like ebay and alliexpress.

 

Hey guys, I’m thinking of getting The Nest off bombusbee (46.99 + shipping) how reliable are they as a retailer? Their prices seem competitive and with coupons pretty much cancel out the estimated shipping of $5.34. Also, what payment options exist? Thanks!

 

I've ordered 11x the past year and never had a problem. I strictly use them as my legends retailer now. my last order even arrived in 6 days to NYC, an all time record of anything I've ever had coming from overseas. Each time I've used PayPal.

 

I am really sad we never got a herbie coloration of this guy I think it would Rock! Can some one tell newage!

 

it's because Herbie the love bug is a Disney property and I think most 3p try to stay away from bringing down the wrath of the mouse on themselves

H25Z & H26Z were officially revealed by Newage at TFCON. Looks like Cliffjumper will be getting a battle damaged repaint along with a rusty cannon.

 

So just redecos of their previous releases?
