just because no one but me was happy with their Hot Rod (apparently I got lucky) and they’d been quiet for a long time? Or was there some other more concrete reason?

I think it was because some shops declared them deceased. If I remember correctly, even ShowZ said they were dead. Then like a week or two later SkyBurst was incoming.   This may not be their last release in the line, or as a company. None of us can say either way with any certainty.

As for Hot Rod, I got a good one too and I’m happy with it.

That’s still a little high for a Chinese shop. Mine was $124 on AliEx with $10 shipping.

Its DP Robot Store. However, I ordered weeks ago for that price and it looks like they have changed the listing. Now they have an option with no Starscream part for $101 and with the Starscream part for $171.

I ordered a Bowutang panther from DP Robot Store and it arrived absolutely crushed. All they did was wrap the figure's packaging in a plastic envelope and slap a label on it. No protection whatsoever.

 

That’s unfortunate. I’ve gotten four things from them over the last year or so and they’ve all been fine. I’m not worried much about packaging anyway. Most of the things I get from ShowZ and, heck, Amazon, come in a bag with the contents crushed. Luckily no damaged toys yet.

 

Well, ShowZ saved me $70 over my TCP preorder, so I couldn't say no to that switch. Looking forward to finishing off this line. At this point I'll be surprised if it goes any further, but it's mostly been a treat.

 

Am I the only one on here who is worried that all the thin parts like the canons and the mast might come bended ?

I seemed to have lost the left arm (the one that came with hotrod) for the star scream build a figure and was hoping somebody might have one they would be willing to sell?

 

Got mine from bombus on Saturday, good to finally complete starscream and get jetfire. Jetfire is actually really nice, no issues with him so far that I can see other than some loose joints.

 

My Boatwater hasn’t updated from Showz in a while. It went to the airport to be sent to the US, but since then there has been nothing.

Usually when I order from Showz, it gets to the states within a week and then sometimes a US carrier throws it in a warehouse for a month. I hope that doesn’t happen again.

I figured I’d pop back in here to remind everyone who is boss in this thread.


At least, thats what I would say. But since I took a hiatus from this line, I have failed to aquire the Grey, Hong Kong Blue, and Hong Kong Blue and Yellow releases of Bumblebee. As well as the Red Baron, Hot Break, and the standard Green and standard Desert and Purple versions of Bulldog. My Jetfire with Starscream torso is on his way though.


Still got Wardog, and I’m curious if @Depthcharge still has his.


Also, I welcome others to show off their entire FS collections.

 

I do and I just got my Jetfire in the mail this week but haven't cracked him open yet.

Honestly and unfortunately, the release of Hot Break near completely killed my enthusiasm for this series. Hot Break was a really clever and great design but had the worst QC of any 3rd party product I've ever handled. I ended up buying two just to cobble one halfway decent one together and even at that I'm almost afraid to look at it for fear of an arm falling off. Really huge shame and left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm seriously considering selling off my FS collection including the Warpath (I've had a very jealous friend in Canada bugging me about it) so we'll see if Jetfire turns things around.

 

Anyone know if that Cliffjumper remold of Bee is still available anywhere?

I ordered one from ShowZ two weeks ago. It got a hub two hours away and has refused to move for the past few days. It’s quite aggrivating as it is a combination of two of my absolute favorite things, Warship and Transformers.
