I'm gonna look forward to 3rd parties upgrading the design for this one. Between the neck in beast looking awkward and the robot face I wanna like it more but those parts look meh to me. I don't care about the vehicle mode but the rest I do.

I hope a third party makes a cartoon accurate robot face. It’s the only thing that bothers me about this fine toy.

Knowing Hasbro they will make a Cryotek with Megatrons face sculpt so that you have to buy both to swap heads for accuracy.

 

Then again, it depends if the factory doesn't fuck up the mold like on this version again

 

I just realized the dragon mode claws become part of the chest in robot mode. Cool!

This more than anything makes me regret passing on the retail Optimal after I got the Throne repaint. They look great together!

 

This is like the biggest pipe dream but if DNA could do it I'd insta buy a beast machines upgrade kit with the masked head and the cloak.

I also would like it if the wings sat higher. On the original toy and show the wings are huge and when folded extend high above the shoulders. These just barely poke out, and combined with the scrawny limbs and huge chest, make this figure look reedy and poorly proportioned.

He didn't say they did, he said that if you want accuracy that would be something you have to do. (assuming of course he's right and Cryotech has Meg's head sculpt, which I doubt)

Might not be. Legacy Megatron was clearly scaled to be compatible with POTP OpOp like how Siege Omega Supreme was scaled to work with CW Devastator
