    Red Cog is shelfwarming?

Damn, he disappeared from pegs in my area almost immediately.

Its shelfwarming in my area but that’s just my anecdotal perspective. It could be a big hit everywhere else.

Blue Bluestreak shelfwarmed near me, same for Origins Bumblebee.

I’ve never seen Red Cog near me.

Is it shelfwarming or is it just regularly stocked?

Rog is shelfwarming hard near me, ngl I'm kinda hoping he goes on 70% clearance eventually like silverstreak did. He'd look great with SG Magnus

Maybe it’s not getting stocked in other locations and people assume it’s selling out? This is still a very new release, probably been about a month for it to be commonly seen in stores now? My memory is fuzzy.

I say shelfwarm because I started seeing him show up in stores probably about a month ago and was surprised because he’s a new figure. But then he seemed to be regularly on pegs since then. Kinda like he’s getting stocked but not selling units. That’s just my impression.

I still seen tons of Kups but never saw a Cliffjumper. And lots of Origns Bee and Silverstreaks but those eventually got cleared out. I might have seen the first Buzzworthy Pack once but that disappeared super fast.

Next time you go take a pen and mark on the boxes and go back to see if they are still there

Seriously though, it is too early to tell if the figures listed before are shelfwarming. I have yet to see any of those figures actually in stock at my stores, just empty spots where their tags are or none at all. Like you said it is only been a month for some of them. I remember when Kingdom first started coming out people on here were saying that the BW figures weren't selling because there stores had them in stock while my stores only had G1 characters since the BW characters kept selling out. A figure isn't a shelfwarmer until like 6 months or so after its release and there are at least 2 of them.

I also wonder if certain areas just don't have Transformer fans in them. Like your area could have not as many Transformer fans in them or more that buy online. It is hard to tell if a line isn't popular because this can also factor into sales.

Just looked, and Red Cog is still available on Target's site, so take that as you will.

Cog might also be struggling with a $30+ pricetag and nothing on the front of the box to suggest he should be a penny more than other deluxes.

If HasTak didn't put TM2 Megatron (massive red dragon with even bigger wingspam) in the Commader Class slot, I wouldn't hope for a Commander Class Rampage. In my opinion the character fits just great in the Leader Class slot. Big robot mode with bulky backpack.

Until it happens we just have

I'd say another year or two and he should be good to go. Last I heard, contracts were 2-3 years. Next year should be sufficient.

Oh, you ain't kiddin'. When even *I* can see Creatures Collide sitting on the shelves, you know it's bad out there because I never, ever see those exclusives. And I have! And then some!
Between Target having to sit on these and Walmart stuck with the Beast Wars repaints, I'd imagine they're going to start telling Hasbro no, or limit the amount they order. Because they clearly miscalculated the demand for these figures... (or at least these decos)

Terrosaur seems to sell somewhat better, I've found, but I have seen a few of him out and about as well, so his numbers aren't looking super good either.

Absolutely. It's true that he could've been restocked as others have said, which is entirely possible, but most of the stores still have their original stock. You can see dust starting to form ever so slightly. With it still being available online, it's no wonder it's a shelfwarmer. Is it worth the extra $5+ just to get some accessories? That's up to the buyer, but I'd say most people aren't exactly in a rush to get this particular set of weapons.

Not surprised in the least. There's nothing really compelling to him, I say after I bought him, and I can't see people rushing out to pay over retail on a figure just because he comes with some guns and bombs that were shown in a couple of Netflix episodes.

One Target near me had tons of Toy Dinobot and Toy Terrorsaur and a handful of SS86 Kup

The other has one or two SS86 Kup, Dinobot, and Red Cog

I only saw the 2nd Buzzworthy 4-pack once and I bought it

There's really no way to say what is or isn't shelf/peg warming based in one area in one state, let alone multiple states

    Yeah.
    Red Cog:

    1) Not an existing character anyone loves.

    2) Not brought to life as a new interesting character by any story or bio on the box.

    3) Not a cool or striking new mold or color scheme

    4) No new parts or cool accessories visible or called out noticeably on the box.

    5) Noticeably more expensive than all the other figures the same size and packaging.

-ZacWilliam, can't imagine why it's not flying off the shelf.

Higher ups are maintaining a massive cover up:

    Needlenose won that poll.

Only a massive mob marching on Hasbro HQ in Rhode Island can uncover the truth. Early January is good.

I've heard it said that modern runs aren't actually big enough for mold degradation to happen but that the problem is that QC/assembly goes on autopilot with redecos since the original run worked out okay.

It has extra parts to replicate its show accurate configuration.

Yeah it's got some new parts and weapons, that aren't noticeably visible for somebody looking at the box.

-ZacWilliam, certainly no indication to someone that it comes with anything extra worth the price increase.

To be fair, cool is a subjective term, I personally think the Prime RID boxes look cool but there's gotta be people who disagree

And the weapons are shown on the back of the box

The Roy colored Dinobots and Terrorsaurs are shelf warming big time. So I'd the buzz worthy 4pack in my target
