This is cool. I have three from the 80s. I used them in school. I also have several more various lunchboxes me and my brother used over the years in the 80s and early 90s.

Super excited about this, and bought one each for myself, and two younger children who also love the G1 cartoon and movie!

Wow this I awesome. I especially like the prime action shot on the thermos. I am now over here trying to justify this purchase…

I can’t tell if the main image has a raised embossed effect or not. I think if this were an entire plastic case I wouldn’t even consider it.

Hasbro took too long, my kid is in middle school now. No more lunch boxes. He will lose interest in the toys soon too. Too bad they didn't finish the G1 toys before he got too old. Oh well, I guess they don't want money.

    Where did you buy them?

It's prolly more for the adults than kids.
Plus after Covid, companies are trying to get the home-workers back to the office. Having a lunch box like this to show off will be incentive!

I had a Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox when I was a kid. By the time the 86 movie came out (I was 10), Mom had transitioned us to brown bags. Still, I have a lot of nostalgia for the old metal character lunchboxes. I’d honestly never use one these days, but I get the draw. Our old lunchboxes are still over at Dad’s house. Mom repurposed them to store her cookiecutters a long time ago…haha…

maybe I got some rose tinted glasses on but this is pretty damn close to what I remember having as a kid, will likely pick up for the nostalgia & collection.

Yeah, I wasn’t able to ever get that one, and would love to. I also wouldn’t mind getting another Knight Rider, and The Fall Guy like I had growing up.

Yes, it’s a great feeling to be able to do that. We even have scheduled times each day during the week when we watch a episode each of G.I. Joe, Transformers, Voltron, ThunderCats, and He-Man (if possible). And they absolutely love it!
