For what it's worth, I got the first release and it hasn't broken.
The fingers constantly fall off, and are tiny, so it's only a matter of time before I lose one or more of them, but they're not broken, just... sub-optimal.

 

I don't manipulate them very often or anything but mine are just fine. I'm careful to (to the degree possible given size) manipulate the fingers individually and work individual knuckles carefully to avoid stressing the joints.

I suspect Eris KA will be available at US retailers in October, but might start shipping from Chinese retailers in late September.

I have my preorder (prepaid!) with PSX. It'll cost me a bit less (like $6) to cancel and go with ShowZ instead.
I suspect I'll get it sooner from PSX, but I doubt there will be any exclusive included.

Nah. Worth the $6 gamble to hope you get it sooner.

 

Depending where you are, I find show z quicker than PSX. PSX usually takes 2 and half weeks to arrive, show z less than 2 weeks.

I'd say you're right. PSX is usually more like a month to reach me, Show Z reliably 17 days. But I fully expect PSX to have her first.

 

I was looking at my first run Eris, thinking about moving her on, and I remembered that one of her small front headlights was missing right out of the box. I emailed PSX about it when I got her, never herd back from them again and completely forgot about it as it's not really noticeable. Anyway, thinking on, would I be best to contact MMC to see if they can supply a replacement?

 

Have you double checked your chat box on PSX site? they usually get back to me really quick about any issues.

MMC is usually pretty good at replacement parts if contacted directly. But this long after a limited release may make it harder.

 

I was able to get a replacement hand for my Eris a few weeks ago as like many folks I finally managed to bust one of her fingers so the parts still exist, but yes people would be wise to sort out concerns asap for a limited run mmc won't be doing again.

Best case scenario in the future you'll only be able to get Eris Alt parts and her color tones are all 100% different besides the black parts that are still black on each so people will end up with color mismatching if they wait too long.

 

I had the hand fall apart on me while posing, was a pain to put back together with all the small fingers but it clipped together fine after a bit of effort. First time it's been an issue since I got the figure.
