I guess it's cool, but to be honest, the art of the characters on the chairs feels thoroughly unnecessary. Most themed chairs I've seen have gone for some symbols from whatever license they're using on the back or headrest, in a colorscheme befitting the character. Like this chair themed after Dva from Overwatch, with some logos/adverts from the game's universe, using her colorscheme and bunny logo. It's the same issue I have with that weird sock collection that was posted a couple weeks back, they're too overt with the imagery. I could see myself with a chair colored like Megatron or a pair of socks with Volkswagon Beetles and Autobot logos on them, but not a chair with a big picture of Megatron on it, or a pair of socks that are just Bumblebee's profile stretched along them. And personally I've always thought these chairs look uncomfortable.
I feel like there's a better way to integrate a Transformers theme without slapping a character on top and calling it a day.
You know what would be great? A computer chair that looked like Megatron’s throne on the Nemesis from the G1 cartoon. Tell me people wouldn’t be lining up to buy that.
So basically "Transformers - The Chair"... still waiting on that flamethrower. At least I got that one as TFTCG card. ^^
Kinda feels like a zero effort product. The chairs themselves are the same as their regular items and all they've done is taken some images from Hasbro's approved artwork folder and maybe asked for the Panatone colour codes and put them onto the seats. As other people have said the Overwatch Dva chair was a cool idea and Star Screams throne would be a cool nod.
It's that anime-style art of the characters from several years back, so this isn't even unique art made for these chairs. Also, gotta love the reuse of the same marquee characters as always. Spice it up with Devastator or Hot Rod or something, FFS
