I can confirm Ironshell's neck is fixed. I ordered the full set (reissue) from TFSource in May and the Deathclaw did not ship with the neck extension.

Finally got around to combining him again. I’ll gawk at him for a few hours and put the individual bots back on the shelf.

Sorry for reviving the thread but...Are we getting a redeco of God Neptune from Beast Wars II or is that not happening. Did it ever happen?

    So far nope

I think one was teased with their Sinnertwin, but it never materialized.

There have been both a black 'n purple version and a all gray "dead" version (both very hard to find and will ask a pretty penny if one ever show on eBay)

Kinda think the moment has passed for a BW2 set. This set is moving to to the "too old, too small" annuals of 3p history.

Maybe someday we'll get new, bigger Seacons, with BW Rampage added as a seventh member to serve as crab-pants.

Yes well said @Nemesis Compactor , put me down for a larger set of Seasons by the Cang design team too.

Scylla... I just want a Scylla retool of 1000kills...

and now that I think about it... maybe a Sea Phantom deco on Leviathan from the Satan set... I know "no gun or leg modes" but that figure is just SO much better than Cyberjaw was...

I think the same design team (Jiyi) created the Seacons for TFC toys. Still wouldn't mind them doing a fresh take on the Seacons to match their Cang Predacons in size.

Really like both suggestions (and not just because I always want more fembots)

I also like the idea of alternate limb members. Like I'd love a new version of Liokaiser that includes Death Cobra and maybe even Lyzack

I am thinking of getting this set. But I am curious how does he scale with fans hobby God Ginrai? Scale wise it seems he is a little bit taller than him in the cartoon. So then would that make him a shorter combiner naturally when compared to the other g1 combiners cartoon or is he about the same height as the g1 combiners and in the cartoon, scale goes out the window? I did look at a scale sheet and it seems hes a shorter combiner.

He’d be about the same height or slightly shorter.

Okay, looking for some advice or maybe things to check for that I might have missed. I finally combined the boys and am having a bear of a time with stability. Poseidon is so wobbly he can barely stand without a wall behind him.

Are there any typical scenarios of mistransfirmation that would affect stability? I'm relatively sure I have everything right, but he seems too top heavy and constantly tries to fall over backward.

Where exactly does he wobble? IIRC, I spent quite a bit of time on the feet, adjusting screws and using nail polish etc, to get things "just right".

There is a fair amount of wobble in the knee joints between ratchet clicks. Also, while the ankle connectors have very stiff joints, they still aren't able to hold his weight because his center of balance seems very off. He likes to pitch forward or backward as a result of those factors.

If there's precedent and I just have to, as you said, start adding clear coats and adjusting screw tension I'm totally fine with that. I just thought I'd ask if there's something I might be overlooking before investing the time.

Right now I wouldn't trust it on any shelf above floor level.

Mine's been separated for quite a while, but I found him more stable/trustworthy than Feral Rex.

(I do like them as "6 guys looking menacing" more than combined, I think)

If he's back-heavy-----are you using all 6, and the sword? That can add a lot of weight to the front, to help balance.

I'm not using the sixth member or the sword. Considering he pitches forward almost as easily as he tries to fall back, I'd be concerned about using those as a solution. I could easily see that precarious balance being upset and sending him one way or the other.

Seems I'll just have to start tinkering and keep him on a low shelf in the meantime.

    Thanks for the feedback.

You’ve probably already considered this, but in case you haven’t, possibly have him with the sword down planted in the ground poles to help him stabilize it. Where his hands are on top of the sword in front of him.

I have snaptrap, nautilator and skalor and I keep vacillating on whether to sell them or complete the set.

Yeah, I do the "sword-down crutch maneuver" often :lol

Guess I was just REALLY hoping I missed something obvious, lol

I know I could be wrong about this, but I think I remember there being a way to connect the foot that makes it a lot more stable. Like a little piece that flips up in the back or something that’s easy to miss. Am I tripping?

Does anyone know if there is a chance that TFC may release a upgrade kit to the ratches for the whole set like they did for their Liokaiser? Just got the set and combined him and his ratches are weak as hell. Still pretty cool in combined mode but... it would be nice.
