Not as much as before, but given the sheer stress on one of the side panels in the torso that has to fold inward, and...yeah, I am absosmurfinlutely NEVER gonna try to transform it again. Those panels would probably snap if you look at'em funny at this point. Already scratchin' my head tryna figure out how to fix that LT02 MPM4 KO...don't need to add to that.

Sad to see this mold has so many issues; will probably transform it a few times again eventually because that sequence is absolutely nutty and fun. It'd be nice if at somepoint there were just specific part KOs for replacement. As it is the mold itself really does near everything for me (heck I realized today the I can put the horizontal tailfins in G1 toy configuration). Hope they do tweek it because for as pricey as it is I do want to see it milked with coneheads, Diaclone versions, and others (not that entire sheet someone made; I definitely do not need to see G2 Dreadwing/Smokescreen variants nor near doubles of many decos). This mold desreves to as good as it can be qualitywise because the design is near perfect (only major complain I really have is the thumbs kinda stink)

I’m super late to the party but I finally opened and transformed the three MP-52-based Seekers this week. I really dig the transformation, it’s fun and pretty intuitive. A little worried about ankle breakages people have mentioned, but haven’t had it happen yet myself.

One thing for which I wasn’t prepared, though, was the limited thigh-pivot articulation. I hadn’t seen it mentioned (to be fair I hadn’t been reading the threads closely), but man, it really bugs me. The range is SO limited, and unlike the lack of waist swivel, it doesn’t seem like there’s a good reason for it to be that way. I’m befuddled at the design choice.

Still like the figures otherwise, and they LOOK great. But they are definitely not perfect.

I like to see Takara make the coneheads seeker trio out of this mold.

Definitely some minor nitpicks with the mold. The thumb choice seems kind of like a head scratcher and why its not more articulate than it is. It seems like the ankle issues Starscream suffered from were addressed on the other two. I think if the ankles were screwed in and not pinned it would make it easier to tighten them up. That pin shaft is pretty short too, and kind of scared me when I went to see what I could do to fix the looseness. I added a little bit of Kiki joint fluid and it seems to have done the trick.

I wish it could swivel more too. I think it’s limited as to not break the sculpt from the front with an obvious cut for the thigh swivel(as the thigh piece acts as a cover for the hip). Trimming that cover down would improve the range of motion for the thigh swivel but make the joints look more obvious. Given that compromise, I’d rather leave it as it is.

There could’ve been a way to incorporate a swivel above the knee but hidden in the upper leg, but then you’d have the lower leg look out of alignment(when swiveled) with the upper leg.

Coronation headsets should be coming this week. To the peeps who ordered from me, I’ll let you know my schedule because I got a big Japanese exam coming up July 3rd. But I’m good from that point. It’ll be exciting to have the set. Hope you guys will like it as well

The stands shipped with the MP-52s all clip to the center of the figure's back in robot mode. That leaves the feet touching the ground and absolutely no room to install the blast effects in the heels.
The MP-52s really need either an extension arm added to the TT stand to lift them up a bit higher or have a different adaptor to support them from the pelvis region. Anything to gain a few more inches of ground clearance. Or just a different stand than the Takara standard MP one.

Looks like the same style stand coming with MP Skyfire? Fine for jet-mode but even on his knees he won't fit on that stand in robot mode.

Edit to add a terrible photo of the way I've got Starscream propped up on top the stand. He's starting to slide off sideways since he's just perched up there and not really pegged in to the stand.

The problem is that seeker mold have the stand port between the shoulder and not on the ass.

Btw i resolved, a forum fellow suggested me the obitsu stand, cheap and strong:

I didn't get these new MP seekers, because ultimately I don't care for their look. (Do still play with the idea of getting one of the KO's to kitbash the hell out of it to see if I can make it come closer to what I would want.)

But should they turn them into the Coneheads, that I could see myself buying. Nostalgia makes the Coneheads, at least Thrust and Dirge, more interesting to me than Skywarp and Thundercracker: those I had and I like the different look and colours.

However, I'm not sure it's likely. The MP-11 Coneheads were made at the request of Hasbro Asia (I think TT only released Starscream on their own). Plus, I don't see how it could be done. The leg transformation would then have to be completely redone and it likely would be a kibbly mess.

Ironically the old seeker mold is more cartoon accurate than the new one, for the coneheads

Definitely, and that's another strike against a MP-52 Coneheads set.
