Calm yourself down, petal. I was referring to the issue @Mastermix was having with Jetfire's leg turbines.

    :lol

To be fair, it does sound like you're attaching that leg armour incorrectly though. I imagine it might be down to your impatience/temper.

    Just a hunch.

Not getting into a conversation when you want to start name calling right off the bat. You weren’t clear what issue your were referring to at all

    Ignored. Goodbye now

When you hold down the button as you insert it, try rotating the leg a touch until it clicks into place. It does seem to require a bit more force, both when depressing the button and clicking the piece in.

To be fair, Jetfire by himself isn't bad either...it's the combining part that one could take issues with ;)

I never set up Jetfire by himself. I wish I had done that and never combined them. The combination mode is just such a hot mess.

@Grimlock212 really? You never took the time to just do Jetfire? Well then make sure to watch my video like 10x at least ;)
It's going to be equally challenging to take Jetpower Prime apart and store up both figures :D  I get home, eat, chores...then have 30 minutes left to get to bed rinse and repeat. :p

I went straight to Jet Power Prime. I actually never saw the movie, and when I saw their Jetfire design I thought it was atrocious. G1 Jetfire was my favorite Transformer as a kid, and they made him into an abomination for the live action movie. I was honestly shocked to see how bad I thought the design was. So I only picked up Jetfire to combine him.

@Grimlock212 yeah, cartoons for kids don't have much depth, but TF in general did...and especially so the whole Starscream and Jetfire/Skyfire origins...fleshing out Cybertronian "pre-wars" storyline would be good. Now that is me acknowledging I haven't read any recent comics and maybe missing out on a lot (I have the GOG collection) and perhaps they did delve into this. But as a kid, I thought that bit was so interesting.

It just seemed super disrespectful to me. That said, I mostly hate the Bayverse designs. Why they ever hired a guy to make Transformers movies who didn’t like Transformers is beyond me. Had they just started with a more G1/Bumblebee aesthetic, I bet the movies would have done *way* better. As I said leaving the first movie- If a Transformers fanatic like me can’t tell Starscream from Megatron apart on-screen, you know the movie has failed at some level.

Not really, it's a pain to get the knees attached but as someone else said, it's not a QC issue but me not fiddling enough to attach it. I checked and nothing is broken on my figure just the engineering to be able to detach the knee but still get a ratchet rotation out of it. The pieces falling becomes less of an issue once you get used to the figure and know how to handle it. But to each their own.

Yeah, I still haven't had any success with it unfortunately and when I look at those few assembly videos, they click into place easily so they don't really help with the best way to fiddle with the turbine latch. I'm going to take a break for a couple of days from it to rest my thumbs haha

There are definitely other issues. Like why did they use magnets that aren’t remotely strong enough? Would it have cost $0.05 more to have strong magnets? I own 20+ ThreeZero/ThreeA products at this point, and this is BY FAR the worst one. I am a huge fan of ThreeZero, and I think the make the best Transformers figure out there (yes, better than Fans Toys), but this set is just hot garbage. I think prior to this set, I was possibly the biggest ThreeZero cheerleader on this forum. I really love this company!

My advice is to skip this set, or if you buy them, keep them as separate bots. If you plan to combine them, be ready for a VERY sub-par experience. I honestly can’t see why anyone would think that what we got is acceptable, unless you’re just rationalizing so you don’t feel ripped off.

This set is a mess, and the worst collectible I’ve purchased in years….and I get tons of collectibles. I will say that the Opimus Prime was a very solid figure on its own though. I never tested Jetfire separately.

That's a shame. I love how they look together but can easily skip it if it's mess.

Still waiting for Jetfire, but meanwhile, I could manage to use my Sideshow base.
