Nice. I've never particularly gotten the appeal of Golden Lagoon repaints, but I'm happy for the people who like them. And I like the Ultra Magnus Roller, it's cute.

Ah, cool. I only own the Magnus version of this mold (not Optimus) but I had already gotten him one of the first-round Rollers. But I’ll replace it with this dedicated one, I guess.

EDIT: Wait, limited to 150? Haha, maybe I WON’T be able to get one, then. Will try, though.

I'm aware that this is an older comment but I still feel compelled to reply... As a former WST collector I recall seeing a Dr. Wu prototype for this same scale of figures years ago when World's Smallest Transformer figures were at their highest peak in popularity. I believe it was a prototype of Perceptor and it was the same height as other wst figures only much more articulated. It was basically Dr. Wu's attempt at getting into the WST game like other 3rd party companies at the time (e.g., Justitoys and Heerotoysmaker). In the event that you're not already familiar with this figure then just type in Dr. Wu Perceptor prototype.

This was nearly ten years ago and the funny thing is that the prototype never made it past that stage... For some reason Dr. Wu never fully committed to the project. And now years later we are seeing Dr. Wu reviving his plan of making small scale figures. There is definitely an audience for figures of this size as there are still many who love micro scale bots like micromasters, minicons, and WST's...

This is great news! My tactic is to only take those which I like in the cartoon can transform into a miniature size like: Soundwave in walkman; Blaster in tape recorder; Megatron in to pistol; Perceptor in to microscope ... but regardless of my tactics, of course I can add some more to my collection because they are really awesome :)

bear in mind this was a few years back. Hopefully DW will resurrect these, or even improve on them.

I would love to know what compelled Dr. Wu to produce these figures at the moment in which he chose to release them??? I mean he literally chose the most inopportune time to jump into such a venture, lol.

I mean there will always be a demand for Transformers figures but with the whole pandemic thing, along with the poor state of the economy as a result, it was simply an odd time to release 3rd party figures. And these figures are of top notch quality as evidenced from the quality of the plastic right down to the perfectly placed paint apps. You can definitely tell that this was not a mediocre release.

It's just odd that he chose not to produce them when originally planned, which undoubtedly would've been the most lucrative time to do so.

I'm impressed Perceptor has a gun. All the others lacked a weapon except Optimus... and I suppose the Seekers. Soundwave kinda counts I guess too.

It would be interesting if he revisited/revised those old designs for his MicroMaster line. With Blaster, Soundwave and Megatron released(or planned) it seems like he has the hang of downsizing the G1 figures licensed from the Microman line.

Hopefully Ironhide wasn't abandoned like those designs were.

They were mainly an accessories-maker back then so those mini figures were probably low on their priorities. The rise in 3D-printed kits in the last few years forced them to overhaul their business, and I suppose they found their new niche in making mini-TFs accessory to Hasbro toys.

First they did the Studio Series compatible Scalpel and Mohawk, then some Siege-compatible cassettes, TFP Scraplets and finally these shrunken G1 cast members meant to go with Earthrise's micromaster bases. Though, I think this Extreme Warfare line is now big enough to be its own thing.

It's a good thing Dr. Wu branched out into making figures. His Amie figure is impressive. I'm ecstatic that he brought out the extreme warfare line I'm just pissed that I found out about it far too late. I tend to be a completist when it comes to my collecting and I hate that I missed out on a previously released variant of Galvatron and Soundwave. I sold off my micro scaled bot collection years ago and after Legends Class figures started getting too big for me to consider them mini sized I stopped collecting altogether and have been out of the loop for a while.

But I'm still a sucker for micro sized Transformer figures and after finding out about the extreme warfare line my passion for collecting has been reinvigorated. There's just something about minibots. They always bring back memories of being in elementary school and carrying around Go-Bots in my pocket, lol.

Screw my wallet, I'd give Dr. Wu access to my entire Chase Bank account if I could get my hands on a set of Constructicons at this size. Oh how I can picture a micro scaled Devastator!!!

I agree with you 100% I have already made the decision in my heart that I will buy everything put out in this line. Well...except the gold versions. There has to be a line somewhere. And I've been DREAMING about the kind of combiners that could come out here.
