Damn Unicron saves the Earth and is gonna save the universe with a pair of dumbasses. Who could've seen that coming? This does make me hope the upcoming Nemesis Leo Prime is Dark Amber more though, definitely a fun character so far

As always, I’m even more confused after the translation.

The Matrix bugzaps him if he tries to do anything too evil. Why he's choosing to go the extra mile? Character development ig? Probably gonna be full good guy by the end of this, or get split into like a good and evil version.

 

Very glad I preordered this, seems like a very fun character

 

Cause it's technically not actually Unicron himself, but a fusion of Leo Prime's personality and Energon Matrix (which are basically forcing this new character to learn how to be a good guy) with the remnant Angolmois Energy from dead Earth. Unicron died in the Japanese G1 continuity anywhere from 100,000 - 1,000,000 years before this manga takes place.

 

I\'m still kicking myself from paying BBTS prices on several MPs that Hasbro Pulse out on a deep discount earlier this year.

If this repaint gets a hefty discount there at some point, I\'ll scoop it up...but not one I have to have, even if it does look pretty cool.

 

If the original author gave us a translation, the result might be slightly different, but since these translations are done by an unrelated fan, the source page of these translations often have some notes added, to explain some of the decisions behind the translation and cultural options at play with the Japanese language. Maybe something is in the notes that might explain something you don't understand...

I like that this guy is ‘technically’ Unicron. I never had a desire to pony up for the Haslab one, so now I can say I have a MP Unicron  .
