So the bio is definitely SG Wheeljack. I decided to look up the original Slicer’s tech spec and was disappointed.

 

The naming/backstory/faction on this guy is still so chaotically weird.

 

Back of the box is blurry, but the faction symbols on slicer and exo seem red?

 

So Slicer gets two new weapons made just for this release, an extra bot, and a comic for the price of two modern Deluxes, yet Flamewar is a repaint with a repainted Battlemaster and comic for only $7 less.

Sounds right to me.

Not that it’s an issue. Plenty of Bots and Cons with non-traditional insignia colors

If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. Very simple

 

Yeah, just pointing out that it’s red on the packaging, while other pics and renders had a purple insignia.

 

So this toy is doing double duty as both a Decepticon named Slicer and the evil Autobot Wheeljack?
I'm probably still going to get him, but wow, is that confusing.

He's a evil Autobot in disguise. A literal robot in disguise XD

 

This is SG Wheeljack, who disguised himself in both SG universes as Slicer because they share the same color scheme. The exo-suit is the heroic Decepticon Roritchi, who I’m presuming is unaware of “Slicer’s” true allegiance.

 

I really like this guy but just like Delta Magnus he won't be part of SG.

... I think I'll have Slicer serv. under Black Convoy (Scourge), while Exo will go with Black Zarak. I just wish that we didn't have to wait until next year for this set.

 

Toyhax, do deliver us a set that gives us the option to cover that Con insignia.
