Wait? I’ve paid up at bombusbee… should ship very soon now because that was like a week ago. I’m back from vacation tomorrow so I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get to race Outback’s delivery.

Asian retailers gotta wait like 30 days after American retailers get it to ship, that’s FT’s rules.

 

I treated the FT official video as a payment notice - hopefully I will make the first SZS batch.

Honestly I bet this guy will eventually go on sale for $85 but I just don't care to wait. $96 at SZS is fine for me. What's american retail gunna charge, $135?

I was honestly shocked by the price difference on NA grimlock between American and Chinese retail - $60 VS $120 basically. Wonder why 3P prices at US retail seem to be increasing? The difference used to be more like +30% but now it's seemingly as high as +100% in some cases.

 

Yeah, maybe the difference is from Chinese retailers lowering prices? Seems like there’s some competition between ShowZ and BBB.

At some point I thought I’d go in on Taobao so I have this and a few other FT preordered there but with shipping being crazy it ends up not being that different from Showz pricing. So I don’t know if it’s worth the hassle.

Spoke to Omegalock, they said their stock is getting released at the end of this month. Looks like the Chinese market are first for this one.

 

Probably means this one is not selling so well.

Baba is doing $99 shipped for Aussie. Same as ShowZ. Baba is such a good friend he also gives me 3% off (his version of a loyalty program since I've spent so much there).

Although if ShowZ cuts the price by $20 within a month they're pretty good at refunding customers the difference.
