He replied to someone saying both G1 and bay fans would like the fallen, he then said he can’t see G1 collectors liking it. Not seeing the problem here.

 

I never said that was the case. The post I was replying to said the character had appeal to G1 and Bayverse fans so would likely sell out, I disagreed because ROTF Fallen doesn't likely hold much appeal to people that want a G1 Fallen. I advise you to understand context of posts before you want to get snarky with people.

 

You’re right. I like both designs, but that might not apply to other people.

 

I prefer DW Fallen but I grew up with ROTF Fallen so I got nostalgia for it so it's nice to see that design done.

 

Don't collect bayverse or bb figures but Rotf Fallen >>> DW Fallen imo, that guy is just a boring design and we don't talk about the aligned version

 

Same. If I had to choose which one I liked more, it’d be War Within. I’d love to have a Generations figure of that design.

 

I somewhat see why but DW Fallen is still my favorite, but while I dislike the POTP Fallen design I would agree that the Aligned design is bad.

Nice and I hope we get a modern version of that design at some point.

 

At the same time, couldn't those same people just... not go onto threads about stuff that they don't like just to complain? I feel like that's more the issue than someone pointing out that kind of shitty behavior.

The POTP one is a shitty mazinger z. The Prime one fits with the other 12 aesthetically.

That's where the ignore function comes in, because it's the internet, and the idea that people won't just go somewhere to complain just because is ridiculous.

 

The thing is, there was no complaint to begin with. This all started because I replied to someone that said the ROTF Fallen would appeal to Bayberse and G1 fans alike, saying that I doubt G1 fans would be interested in a ROTF Fallen. Then someone quoted me, taking my comment massively out of context, saying that they had a "news for me" that not everyone collects just G1. I never complained about the ROTF Fallen, I never even gave my own opinion on it, but someone felt the need to get snarky and derail the thread.

 

I mean yeah it is the internet, but TFW isn't the entire internet. I feel like thats giving people that do that kind of stuff too much of a pass. You can bet that if people posted in G1 threads the same way some of these people do in movie threads that it wouldn't slide.

Just because you can say something doesn't mean you should. I don't go into threads about stuff that I don't like just to bitch and moan.

If it helps, I wasn't talking about you, more so people that do stuff like that in general. Come into movie threads just to say "these suck" or things like "not G1 so pass" and the like. I do think that the reaction to what you said got way overblown and that you didn't do anything wrong, so please don't think that I was specifically targeting you.

 

Summer is nearly over and I'm surprised we haven't heard much about the remaining 2023 line. They are really keeping things under wrap now.

 

Well most of what we got are listings. Someone mentioned on another thread that leaks are pretty much dead. Now we have to wait for listings, and what we’ve gotten seems to be indicative of the first wave of 2 for next year. Just remember that our massive listings dump from last year that gave us almost the entirety of this year’s lineup came in late September.
