Can we get the other primes too?

 

@Black Convoy: In the details section of the front page article, Newage’s Solus Prime is listed as H48N Ninja Dickey instead of H48S Sif.

 

I have 51 Iron Factory figures, 3 NA, and CT MiniFirmini. Working on the wife still, though I’ll probably have 40+ NA figures before that changes.

 

Gotta acknowledge NA's effort for the remolds, but the changes don't work for me as Elita-1 nor Solus Prime, especially Solus Prime. The chest is just weird.

 

I am usually a sucker for repaints and first impression of sif looks great but looking at that chest it looks horrible

waiting for IDW Arcee repaint, I will be all over it

 

Is that not what NA does? "Hey we have this one mold we are gonna use infinity billion times so buy them all for the low price of 100 dollars for a 3 inch figure with a nightmare of a transformation because it has like 80 million folding panels"

 

I think that Elita1 looks pretty awesome, I just don’t have any interest in the character.

Man, I have to imagine after the 35,000,000,000th issue of Playbot Vornly, it just stops having the same effect

God if only someone would now make a chug Solus that wasn’t a poorly made expensive exclusive like the MMC one. The headsculpt on this and the hammer look great!

 

Well, my head canon was that Solus learned how to make a smaller her disengage from her main body, but I would much rather a full sized Solus. These toys ever get OSKOs?

 

Yes. I think the now older Starscream was made into a deluxe (legends figures look terrible blown up that much. Just my opinion though).

Some get slight increases (Black Shadow, Overlord and Six Shot) and they look fantastic, imo.

But no, not really. Other than that terrible Starscream.

 

Iron Factory, UT’s Headmasters and DX9 stuff have from Mech Fans Toys oversized a little.

Now Iron Factory’s only had their Starscream oversized to like Deluxe-ish height. NA has only had Starscream, Megatron and Bee oversized, possibly now Grimlock but it was only a silhouette of the Sunbow model so who knows.

 

I would love if Solus' Forge transformed into a (Demi)Titan, but I doubt that any 3P company is gunna do that unless Hasbro and/or the next Comics and/or other media license holder try it, first.

 

Yeah, New Age makes a good, premium-looking bot, but I do transform my figures and I can't justify this mold except for Nightbird, which didn't have an alt-mode...so I don't mind her having a goofy alt-mode with hand placement issues.

 

The problem's moreso that Arcee's design doesn't work without a backpack. Now, if we had female bots designed to work with their altmode rather than against it, like say, Prime Arcee, things work better.

But, hey, throwing a Solus into something is always a way to get me interested. Think she's too big for my Really Dumb Plan of having her just, use that Legends Apex armor, but its at least some visual representation for her

(And given Orthia's existence, I'd hope any appearance of that team would be moreso on the combiner side)

 

I'm just happy they retooled her more than Dr Wu's and also I think while I would love a red version I like the colors they went with WAY more than what Dr Wu went with.

Yeah Arcee’s G1 design is a design that just doesn’t work without a backpack because of how kibble’s the design is.
