What do they call that thing where if you pretend to be a character long enough eventually you can't really claim to just be pretending....

Well this escalated quickly. Jeez. Ok, i'm in the middle. i love clear windows when the situation calls for it, but i hate Clear plastic when used in a way that it has a high chance of breaking (I.e. SS86 Jazz and Ironhide).

Same here. A good use of clear plastic is on stuff like Kingdom Huffer and Earthrise Starscream.

I wonder if a soft sanding head on a handheld dremel is the way to go then?

I finally reached to that part of the thread where someone writes a long winded post.

    It's a good read.

Some good points, some bad points.

    Some I agree with, others I don't.

But I persevered too the end nevertheless, and it was a good read.

    You get a thumbs up.

Now to continue reading and catch up to finally post my thoughts at the end... see you in a few hours or days... I not a "fast" reader so...

I really don't know I feel about this guy, I still got my ER Ironhide for retail and I am still unsure if this would be exactly worth it to switch out

If I hadn’t already sold ER Ironhide, it would be well worth the switch out for me. No feet sticking out the back of the van, no shoulders sticking out the side of the van and, most importantly no parts forming. And the bot mode looks pretty good too.

I'd bet while there is a vocal minority that wants opaque windows, the vast majority would rather have clear, even with the Spector of breakage, I've only had an issue with TR wierd wolf.

I too like reimaginings but toon G1 is making money and the hobby has less broad appeal in general. Kids are not choosing Transformers, at least none that I've encountered, well one. But I'm a father now and because of that I see children more regularly. So the laser focus is on the reliable G1 crowd. Maybe to a fault. But I don't blame Hasbro, they have to follow the money.
