I am happy to help out with this (in place of a proxy), but first batch might be difficult as a number of people have already put in requests (and they will go quickly). That said, they will put up more of the sheets probably within a week or two so there is no need to rush! Anyone who's interested is welcome to PM me.
All pics from Twitter each sheet seems to have enough for 2 versaulters the extra tags for the gantry only available with the release this weekend
holy smokes! VERY TEMPTING…. I may wait for one of the brave souls here to say how easy to install they are first ^^” ——————————/////——————— So this is a project I’ve been meaning to do ever since VERS BP came out… and on the topic of bases (and gantries). Part 1: Powered 04/05 When VERS BP first showed off the ‘train’ mode for 04/05 I was completely blown away, “they’ve improved everything about them!” I thought…. But the more I looked at the picture (and eventually in-hand) something felt off… after dragging out Destroyer (and Land Battlecruiser) it struck me… somehow the newer version despite doing new things, came at a cost of old options. Gone was the foot cannon as seen with the trailer with the tan B-Type (?). All the native hook-ups for raid chambers were occupied by other things and no longer directly accessible. It also forced the cranes around on the ‘other side’ in base modes. Part 2: Giana Powered (Powered 03+04+05) They just feel extremely different….. are also completely backwards from each other. Part 3: VERS BP vs BP (Destoyer in my case- but applies to all the prior ones) I know that VERS BP is supposed to be focusing on V-Movers and bullet cores. But even that seems hamper (handicapped by the cranes not having enough clearance). This was due to the redesign of 04/05 and the ‘double knee’. With the older BPs (which I had forgotten until I doubled checked the instructions) actually flips 04/05 around and re-docks them with 03. While o haven’t tried that trick with VERS yet, the instructions don’t call it out either… The massive drills also don’t help with the base mode feeling cramped
How much do those stickers usually run for? I think those glowing cockpit stickers for the mover may push me into giving these a try
I’m not sure we know yet. I imagine the glow-in-the-dark is a premium cost… But I don’t think they’ve really done a set like that before. ——————————————————————- for some reason…. I either…. Do t remember Buffalo being so tall…. Or that Dia Battles was that short…. I know I have Powered Greater in a bit of a crouch…. But I would have expected it to be taller than Buffalo…. Though Powered Greater *is* closer to Big Powered that I expected. VERS BP really is a big mech
As far as I remember, there have only been chase glow furniture pieces, no sheets, unless I'm forgetting one. Those aren't really "extra", they just found some original measurements are off so providing fixed ones on a separate sheet. They will be fixed on future printings.
That sounds right from what @TogeAtama and I have talked about. I wasn’t aware the glow consoles existed until I poked around their site… then I heard the news they’re chase/even more expensive and I was sad But @TogeAtama is awesome! ————————————————- I will say looking at my line up…. There’s a high probability that if I pick up DA-92…. It won’t be combined with V-Shadow…. He just looks too good on his own. Also I don’y know how Buffalo does it (probably because the bubble is just so non-human) but always seems to be in a perpetual state of surprise when I look at it
I think the real nexus was complaints about the posing of robot mode. I think the compromises they made to update it, show why the original design was chosen. I agree that the Vers version's legs are "less" in all other regards but as legs. It just isn't as solid in its component parts. The Land Units as mini-bases is where it most suffers. It isn't "bad", just less awesome. Of course we have other, arguably better bases now and upcoming, but the Land Units were the first mobile bases and seemed better than these. There just seems to be less play options as an all in one with those. Probably why the new Land Units weren't sold separately...
I agree completely, I suppose VERS BP being able to bridge to Pods was a neat trick…. But somehow in person I was a little underwhelmed. May try it with Gantry and see if that helps (but I’m still of the mind so far that it just needs to be at least two long). I’m very excited and curious about the Tactical Transports (and their Fort Chambers) coming out in the next few months. I’m worried the trailers might be a “little on the small side” but I suppose a console bank and either bike or mover anchors is all you need (a few chairs?). Love it! I’ve been meaning to break out the waruders (it’s been a long time since I’ve touched Raptor and Bug head- or done basic suit combinations). The main thing stopping me… and it’s too late (time/tired) for pictures…. Is I’m current just blown away with the scale (I know, shocker!) of just how the various Diaclone forces on vehicle/machine (not mecha) all kind of scale relative to each other. It was interesting seeing Battle Convoy nested yo Powered Greater (in it’s “trailer/storage” mode) next to Buffalo fully racked with raid chambers next to Land Battlecruiser, next to Gaia Powered…. They’re all relatively the same mass… I wasn’t expecting that. The Pods are on a whole new level, but could store any I’m one of the aforementioned. I was going to compare all the jets but ran out of steam, but I think they’re all relatively on-par with each other too. It’s also interesting comparing the mass of the Versaulters to the TriVERS (rambler/dasher).
Which for this line will have to be an upgrade or recolor. If you want the original colorway it'll only be getting more and more expensive based off their past actions. That said, I'd love for them to do a white or moon base color scheme of convoy with another pod grander with different accessories/bay parts
I mean… is $730 really all that much? Like, yeah, it takes a hot minute to save up for it. But I mean I have to spend $450 on breaks next week. *shrug. IDK. I once though to myself, that when you are an adult, that $100 is both all the money in the world and absolutely no money at all.
Did the Vers BP not come with a steel sheet? I bought mine used and it already came with the wrong colored command vehicle so its possible that they kept the sheet. I guess that's what the EX Hobby sheets are for.
it did not come with a sheet, and the canopy on the main command vehicle is blue in the actual release instead of the yellow the box shoes for some reason.
