A great friend picked this latest find for me from Japan...

Joy Toy Mercenary (K) and gashapon from the Tsumugi-bako series. The creature is larger than normal 1:18 scale figures, but still feels like it belongs with this scale to me. The figure is assembled, but has amazing articulation at 15 points, most flexible ball joints.

Several different ones... Showers are from a Swedish doll house line, which I had to order through a proxy (took 2 months to get here), and I cut the modesty screens from "water" sheets and glued them on. Toilet was a gift from a good friend that found it in Japan. Those lockers were, I think, from Marauders Inc. (I have bought several different sets of lockers, so apologies if wrong set...) Building and cabinet are from Joy Toy Mecha Depot sets.

LOL, until your base gets bigger than mine, you're okay. Then, I'll say you have a problem. I can't be the proverbial pot.

That’s fantastic. Don’t know if I’ll get that size soon, but I know how I am lol.

Give me a couple months and we can both say we have a problem.

New gachapon beverage dispensers add a nice detail to the Oasis Lounge and The Depot. Starting to make it all more "lived in" feeling.

Also, some metal locker gachapon, too. Hard to find stuff that scales right. Got lucky on these.

No, it's the translucent tan one, as is the little guy. I used some experimental lighting techniques that made it look darker.

Nice shot! That set is some of my favorite 1/18 in my collection. What are you using for the background there? (I don’t recognize the danger partition.)

It’s from one of the fresh retro sets. I think it was the bazzar? It’s a sticker, so it’s the same fence piece they use on a lot of their sets

Does anyone know of a good paint match (preferably Tamiya or Mr. Hobby) for the Hiya Toys Big Chap’s main body color. I just got one but he has silver overspray all over his upper lip and I’d like to tidy it up. Any tips would be super appreciated.
