I’m not people who play these games are people on this site.,

transformers new fans which also depends on them keep transformers alive not be dead like thunder cats those new fans don’t play transformers games, watch cartoons, buy comics and toys it is reason new fans became fans of transformers thanks to movies they like live action stuff not cartoon stuff animated movie they will never watch.

these games are made for people who go to this site and it depends how popular people on this site want high demand for them keep it going keep it alive there is reason older fans never talk to newer fans newer fans do not like g1 and anything transformer related that looks cartoony games especially

What even did you just say? I can barely understand this garbled mess.

Are you suggesting that the only vector for new fans to enter the franchise is the live action movies? If so you're very, very sorely mistaken.

Maybe this will be a wake up call to make a game for consoles again. Preferably a quality one.

I was just replaying FoC a few weeks ago, and lamenting how sad it is that we did not get more games like those.

Ignore them. They pop up every so often to make the same complaint about how the live action movies are the only reason the brand still exists in the same incomprehensible manner. It wouldn’t surprise me if they turned out to be a bot.

Anyway, this news is kinda disappointing only because I wanted to see more of the character designs. From some of the promo pics the Seekers were going to be “Generations-ized” versions of their Bumblebee movie forms, which looked pretty cool to me!

TBH, Hasbro should just see if they can throw together a Transformers MMORPG or something with a decent balance of PVP and PVE, wide variety of customization options, and awesomeness in general

...that's not something you just "throw together" though.

WFC and FoC set an example. If activation could go out of business so we can actually get a good live transformers game that would be great. The fact that hasbro is so narrowminded and refuses to do things properly shows why we may never get another masterpiece like those 2 games ever again.

The difference between a triple A game developed by veteran studios VS a mobile game meant to cash in on a trend that died when the pandemic hit.

Not saying that a Transformers mobile game can't be good, but please keep your expectations in check.

Reminds me of the old Nexon Game that was a hero shooter before they were really a thing. Died in beta. Though I actually enjoyed playing that and this just looked like a bad idea from the get go.

Was this supposed to be a joke? Because very few people are going to laugh.

I wonder how much Flint Dille was supposed to be involved with this. He was a major contributor to the Niantic AR game that Pokémon Go's architecture is based on (the name escapes me but I played a lot of it before I switched to Pokémon briefly...and then just stopped altogether since I was trying to play while driving, which is never good.)

    No...?

We're in the golden age of online tabletop games. Wouldn't you rather play a game where the only limit is your imagination, rather than what's programmed in?

    OH NO I'M MY DAD

Clearly the concept of modern Sandbox and RPG games is lost on you...

Look, my friend, we all like games. But could you please not bash our desire for a decent new videogame?

I don't know why you're under the impression that they're mutually exclusive. I hope you get the game you want! Just thought you might enjoy seeing the roots of the type of games you enjoy. I was going to invite you to join my play group.

Buddy, you're the one who came into this thread and said:

Which I assumed was supposed to be an insult.

Personally I like both but if every new TF game is gonna get smothered before it gets a chance to attract an audience (Transformers Universe) then the old ways are still the most viable. I think Blam just assumed you were being insulting instead of offering a viable alternative since as mentioned we haven't gotten a decent TF game since Devastation and APPARENTLY the best we can hope for is a crossover with an existing game like World Of Warships.

On a personal note, how are you enjoying the Essence20 system? I'm still wrapping my head around hardpoints and how they work but I'm enjoying it. I have Power Rangers as well which could REALLY benefit from a second printing with the update stuff from G.I. Joe and Transformers.

Damn, the game didn\'t even get out of beta and it\'s already being cancelled.

At least it was just another generic mobile game and not a full sized console/PC release.
