Fedex almost always delivers my packages a couple doors down. No idea why.

I'm my case,I live in an area where the addresses are like coordinates. 50 N 100 E kind of thing (nobody around here seems to realize but 50 is the street number and N 100 E is the street name - everybody some here seems to think 50 N is the number and 100 E is the street). It just so happens that there's a house with the exact same number on the south street so I drove by there on Saturday and there was my package. Which reminds me I need to call Ontrac and cancel so they don't go looking for it - they wouldn't tell me where it got delivered but I guessed.

My question is, why the hell is Ontrac delivering your packages?

ShowZ > Yunexpress > Ontrac. I dunno - I guess it's cheaper that way. More often than not, the final carrier is USPS but Devy and Grimlock, who is it for delivery today, both used Ontrac.

Got 'em in hand. Yeah the green is a bit different between EX and toon but I think it might be passable to get the proper type of legs on the EX version of Hook in botmode. :)

MS devy as a stand alone on it's own, both individual bot/alt modes and combined is great. however along side their own menasor and Zeta superion, it was always too much bigger/bulkier in comparison for me.

i have been waiting a long time to get NA EX or the G2 yellow, and i'm not disappointed with finally adding it along side the other two combiners.

Yeah those three look great together! I've got the same plan, just haven't gotten around to building Superion or the new toy version Devastator yet. Glad to see they look great together! :)

Started out being annoyed by the fact that the yellow Devastator wasn't a pure G2 yellow, but eventually started digging the unique nature of this Devastator being a mix of 3 yellow Devastators from across time and companies. Got my set in today. Really impressed with the individual bots; I absolutely love the Magic Square set, and I'm really pleased with the fact that the MS and NA Constructicons are so different from each other; I feel like they really have a different feel, aim for very different targets (and hit them perfectly), and absolutely do not replace one another.

I'm still disappointed by NA's decision to do a Devastator with clip-on Constructicons, but whatever, I've made peace with it. Fortunately, NewAge's quality is so good that even when the design isn't my favorite, the execution is great. I do feel like Long Haul doesn't really clip into the Devastator torso, and he does get loose if I pose Devastator around a lot, which is a bummer. I also wish his head had a biiiiit more range looking up, and I wish the toes on the new Mixmaster legs fit inside the Devastator foot better - I don't love the toes-out Devastator look, so I'd prefer to tuck them away, but they don't quite have a designated spot inside the Mixmaster cab when in leg mode. They way they attach at the ankles makes them rotate out at an angle, so it's hard to get them lined up just right in such a way that they don't press into each other and make the Mixmaster cab prone to splitting.

Otherwise, really cool set. Now let's see that vibrant orange set, NewAge! I'm an idiot what wants to shovel money at you! Come take it, please!

Got the EX set in and I absolutely love it. I'm really glad I sprang for it despite hating Hook's crappy right leg. I absolutely adore how much they seem like updated, super articulated versions of the G1 toys.

    20220810_110601.jpg

    Pros:
    • Usual solid NA feel and quality
    • Suitably complex, but intuitive transformation engineering
    • Great G1 toy look...they absolutely NAILED the green!
    • Insanely fun to mess around with
    Cons:
    • Mixmaster's new leg transformation is overly complicated and kind of kills the transformation flow
    • Mixmaster is also back heavy with a minimal foot base and (at least on mine) weak hip joints, so he's a bit hard to pose in any position that's not hunching forward...not a huge deal, a bit of acrylic clear coat should fix the hip up and help a lot
    • Not really a fan of how they're all kind of overly stretched out beanpoles in bot mode, but they're fun enough to play with that I can look past it
    • Hook's wonky leg
    • Scavenger's face has to be glued because it keeps falling off..."sorry guys, can't go out tonight. I have this condition where my face falls off." Funny, but again, not a huge deal
Cons are all pretty minor and greatly overshadowed by how much damn fun they are to handle. Can't wait to get to the full Devastator tomorrow!

I generally HATE pants forming, clip on figures, etc, but I already feel like this one is maybe going to change my mind.

Thanks for the direct comparison. I don't know how people can look at the MS set and think they are in any way closer to these G1 figures than this. This is literally close to perfect - the right colors, the right designs (minus Long Haul's wheels), good materials, and better articulation. Complete G1 nostalgia achieved and functionality exceeded.

    Nooooo!

Finally bought this guy. Long Haul showed up with an assembly error: The pieces that attach the wheels to each of the legs are leg-specific, so they're supposed to be mirror images of one another; instead, both of mine are "right leg" parts, so the wheel can't sit flush in alt-mode. I don't know yet if this affects combined mode at all.

Dang! I've contacted Bombusbee, and I'm hoping they'll be able to send me replacement parts.

I recently got 2 right hands with my Magic Square Ironhide from Bombusbee, messaged them, and within a week they had my replacements. Not sure how fast NA responds to issues in contrast to MS, but I do know BBB came thru for me the one time I needed an after service replacement, and fast.
