Well since ROTF is officially in the MPM Line, I'm predicting/hoping that we'll see the inevitable ROTF MPM Bumblebee retool later next year.



Outside of the obvious modifications such as New Rims, a remolded Front End & of course the Vented Hood, some other things they could do are:

Replace the White translucent plastic in his head with Blue so that he'll have accurate light piping and not just the Ghostly White eyes with Blue awkwardly painted over it.

Perhaps finally give him the proper shade of Yellow. Though whatever legal reasons that impeded them in the first place would probably still inhibit them now, I don't know for sure though.

They could also mold a little port into the area behind his neck to a facilitate a newly included Shoulder Cannon accessory. Doubt they'd bother though.

And though this would understandably bump up his price, but maybe.. juuust maybe.. a small MPM Ravage Figuree?  

Unlikely because MPM Scorp more or less happened specifically due to them already having SS Scorp's mold to use as a basis. But I genuinely don't see an MPM ROTF Soundwave, nor an MPM Rampage happening whatsoever so imo: Ravage would be an appropriate inclusion in this case.

um they aint done with tf1. this is just an easy to repaint they made which allows them to rerelease mpm-10. allows people to get if they missed out on the first release and if they just prefer this look.

also personally i always thought that the reason starscream didnt have the tattoos in tf1 was because he was hiding. this is probably how he always looked

 

This doesn’t mean or hint at all they are done with TF1. Just they are doing the easy repaint.

I hope Hasbro lets TT take control of MPM deco! I like their approach here on ROTF Starscream compared to previous MPMs which seemed to be based on the deco used on the original 2007 toys and style guide promo art.

That is a very good discount. With DHL shipping it’s probably not too much more over what Target charged for MPM10(before they discounted it months later). Plus, not sure if it was ever announced if MPM10R is being brought over here through Target. So this is tempting.

 

He's up on Pulse. It's looking like this was a Takara-initiated release and won't be getting a US release through Target.

Deco and colors look great except those beige flaps on the wings. That’s super distracting to me! Also parts of the back are very bare looking. But overall this is a good deco. I already have the official plus the tattoo KO so I won’t be getting this but if you don’t have any version of this mold already GET THIS! It’s such a fun figure. Really fun. Even the shitty jet mode is fun.

The discount already happened on AJ and it went back up again. I got it for 16,361 after the local 10% tax was deducted on AJ. Blackout dropped in price at least twice. I missed it the first time and managed to order on the second price drop. So keep checking AJ for another drop. If you order now Amazon will give you the lowest price if it drops again. But that's a bit of a risk if it does not drop again before the order cancellation deadline.

Quite interested to know why they've listed him as MPM-10R and not MPM-14, especially considering in SS, his ROTF ver is a diffferent number to the 07 ver.

 

Makes sense since they usually (not all the time) do this with the regular MP line either with +’s or lettering’s.

 

Yeah and then other times Takara goes "Fuck it! You're the next numbered release congrats!".


Bet it's just a matter of time till MPM decides to go funky with their numbering.

 

Also Nightbird and Dark Amber Lio Convoy is another example of this.

But we will see, also depends on how far the MPM line will go.
