Yeah Yahoo Japan is pretty sweet. I was able to get DA-64 and DA-70 for a "reasonable" price. Its cool that they break out sets there too, its just a little hard to search for it.
I should say this very quietly, but I'm not totally sold on that Warudalegion Vajra reveal. It almost looks too demonic to be in line with the other Waruders so far which have felt predominantly bug-like or reptilian. This is full on nightmare monster. Feet, wings and hands look amazing to me, but the headsculpt, lance-like attachments and red worm pod are what give me reason to doubt. Can something be TOO metal? All the best Maz
Sooo, none of its alt modes look like a Vajra, but it's cool enough for me to preorder every single recolor.
Weren't giant bugs and giant lizards chosen by the original generals because they discovered they frightened humans? (My memory could be wrong on that... Maybe it was another planet's influence for bugs, but dinos were from earth's past...) Wouldn't this be the next step? Also, I'm thinking a one-off general driven type thing, personally. Like Machine Dragon, which I don't think was meant to be a troop builder...

Dark Knight indeed. Actually, getting a real Garland from FF1 vibe mixed in with some more current FF aesthetic.
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but the wingblades appear to snap together at the tip to form a large spear head. I don't see it incorporated in any of the photos yet though. I think the swords look sweet but something about that hook design on the end makes me think something is missing or maybe they will release something later that expands upon them. Either way, I'm psyched for this fig!

Though I’m sad there are no wheels that roll (on the ground) in this mode. Just static treads.
Yeah, I’d anything the new Legio Vajra reminds me a bit of a cross between bullhead and bug head. —————— the further I go the more the RRP of Powered Greater makes sense. I wasn’t sure how big the mech mode was going to stack up. It’s basically a stripped down Convoy or a slightly upscaled TriVERS.
I think Vajra is my new favorite Waruder, there is so much going on with the details and the alt modes put him a solid step above Ripper. Pretty sure they won't be showing us the expected altmode even if it can do it (borderline cultural appropriation). Glad they gave us the cathode colors as a standard release as well.
I'd be utterly flabbergasted if the horns on the head aren't removable via 4mm pegs. Maybe removing the horns would assuage your feelings of Vajra being too demonic? I was thinking the same thing, this guy's wings can definitely form some sort of spear head weapon that would probably go with Warudaros Gigantor!
Why am i the only one concerned about this guy's name? Jokes aside (tbh i don't think i'll ever stop joking about that bad choice for a name, expecially if i can find a fan-mode that fits what everyone thought about when we learned how it was called) i contacted my usual diaclone drug dealer to preorder one, and i can't wait for a recolor that will allow me to have a custom red and grey version, even if it means swapping and Frankensteining parts like i had to do with my 2 Giganters. (Unfortunately i don't have any pic of the cooler red, gold and grey one on my phone anymore due to storage shortage, so here's a pic of what i did with the blue, grey and purple spare parts as a reference. You should be able to find some pics of the red version by checking my old posts in this thread tho)
