Taken from www.toy-world.com.hk. Not my photo, but too awesome not to share:

P.S. don't look in that thread unless you want to be convinced to buy this figure.

Custom Resident Evil 4 HUNK Finished!

Wow, this thread got buried. Time to resurrect it from the dead with some Resident Evil 4 customs. This is the RE4 Mercenaries version HUNK. Here are some sample pix.

    I need opinion...

I missed out on the HT Predalien "clean" version, so far I think the battle damaged version ain't that bad, it looks cooler when damaged. It will come out by next month and I will snap it up without wasting time..

    What do you think ?

I'm not a big fan of Battle Damage (unless when it's minimal and they come with an assload of extras :D ), but if you prefer that, then sure, why not? Especially cause he's supposed to be a very limited release.

I'd be way more into the AVP 2 figures if I didn't think the movie sucked, just my own thought.

Thanks! This is my first scratch build. I could not find a good figure that was close enough to the game character so I just decided to build it from the ground up. Here is a quick run down.

Body - Hot toys true type, with feet and USMC Saw Gunner head
    BDUs - Dragon Grey color
    Gloves - Dr. Figures
    Boots - ACE leather
Gas Mask - ??? Maybe Hot toys (I colored the lenses red)
Helmet - Very Hot SWAT (cleaned off the weathering)
Knee/elbow pads - Very Hot SWAT (cleaned off the weathering)
Pistol holster - ACE SFOD Delta
Drop Leg pouch, Grenade pouches, Escape/evasion pouch - Toy Soldier
Radio/headset and back pouch - ACE Navy SEAL
Vest - Hot Toys/Saturday Toys (Custom made, base is Hot Toys Aba vest over a GIGN Bullet Proof vest with green shoulder straps from a different chest rig)

    Weapons
TMP Submachin Gun - Hot Toys RE4 Krauser gun (with leather sling I made)
    M1100 Shotgun - 21st century toys
    Desert Eagle - Dragon
HKV70 - Hot Toys Leon pistol
    3 Frag Grenades - Dragon

Here is the game character for comparison.

Thanks bro, I've been busy in 1/6 scale lately. I have 4 other figures I have yet to take pix of. Here is one of them.

This is the Hot Toys USMC MEF. I customized him and made him into a Navy SEAL set up for CQB.
He is packing a M4 carbine, M14 SOCOM w/ silencer, MK23 SOCOM pistol, and a backup 92FS Beretta pistol.

Now that's a face only a mother could love.

    Just not a human mother.

Because it'd be laying its eggs in her.

Awesome Predalien, man! I keep thinking about getting one of HT's Alien figures, but the rubber suiting and reports of breaking ankles makes me nervous.

Really ? So far the ankles of my predalien is fine. BTW, HT Predalien is top heavy, so I have to rely on its tail to support. XD

Transparent skull is so mesmerising and I can't stop gawking at it.

Oh yeah, it's the first figure that cannot fit into my shelf, as it stands 18 inches tall if you straighten its legs.

Here's a fun bit of news:

Looks like Hot Toys will be setting their sights on a proper 1/6th Iron Man, which should make Hasbro's look like a candy gloss painted knock off.

    EDIT:

In Hot Toy's newest newsletter, they say they now have the Iron Man movie license.

    I haven't measured them, but I'm pretty sure they're 12"...Storm Shadow's 3.75"...

Gollum's really hard to tell, since he's almost impossible to stand up straight, as he has no knee joints (they're bendy). He does have an alternate head, though...

    And, what about 18" figures?
