Not quite sure replacing the hands is a viable option for the kit makers, they are pinned in a a rather inaccessible manner.

Would be nice if they were articulated though.

Thanks for sharing! That first pic makes Meansor look really top heavy, almost gorilla-esque. But that 2nd pic doesn't look that way at all.

Is it actually possible to attach the combiner wars legs to the back side of legacy menasor's legs? I've tried looking around but can't find any pics showing them in any configuration but on the front of the shins.

So wait… it’s BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE? WITH OR WITHOUT the arm and leg exoskeleton? (Cos I’ve seen the CW limbs attached directly to the torso already)

    these dudes are geniuses.

Those Prime figures are putting a brand new meaning to the term "Shelf Warmer" they are literally burning a hole in the shelf it's self! Absolutely zero movement, I think the people have spoken with their wallet's, and a clear message has been sent to Hasbro! They need to abort & fast!!! I guess Legacy Prime Knockout is going to make or literally Knockout Prime out of the Legacy Line all together.

He looks kind of boring and I almost passed myself but actually he’s an AWESOME transformers toy. I actually double dipped and got the Wreckers version too! I still think they messed up by overly G1-ifying the Prime characters but objectively all those toys DO look good, just not “right.”

Same! IMO Just feels like a random meaningless figure, that literally has no place in my collection. Same also goes for Prime Arcee, they just feel like confused figures. Really wish Hasblo had just stayed faithful to the Prime esthetic, I probably still wouldn't have bought them, but at least Prime fans would have faithfully updated Prime figures to collect.

I’m 90% sure that’s fudged together or a custom, I think there was someone who said fit was with printed parts a while ago? Def not backwards compatible in that way by default though, I have him.

Agree. I know legacy as a line is fairly random but Bulkhead and arcee just seem to be stuck in for the sake of it. I did get arcee but Bulkhead was an easy pass. I am a fan of the prime show which I thought got really good ad it went on but Bulkhead just doesn't do it for me.

As much as i hate Motormaster's hollow leg but hope that Menasor looks good with all the rest of the robots attached to Motormaster.

There is a difference between underselling and overstocking. Hasbro is simply supplying too many Bulkhead figures. The same problem exists here with Legacy Blaster and Skids. But the true shelf warmers in my area are Kup, Blurr, and Silverstreak, as well as Legacy Galvatron and literally any Beast Wars character.

My area has pretty much all of wave 1 shelf warming or peg warming at Walmart with the exception of Laser Prime.

I was a pass on Bulkhead until he was on sale for $10 at Drorkside. He’s actually awesome and I’m happy to have the dude.

Legacy Bulkhead is a good figure— I just think people have conceptual issues with his G1-ification, which is understandable. I swapped his head out and replaced it with Inferno’s, giving me a Hauler that is distinctive from Grapple. I enjoy the figure in a slightly different way, but it doesn’t take away from what is genuinely a good CHUG toy.

Has there ever been a Wave 1 of any new line that *didn't* shelf warm?

Come on, we've been down this road so many times. Wave 1 stuff is always plentiful and kicking around long after wave 3+ has come out.

We have been down this road before, ad nauseam. It’s usually not so much shelf warming as it is oversupplying. Many of these figures sell reasonably well, but once demand is met, Hasbro fails to get off the gas.

I think everyone that wanted an SS86 Blurr (maybe what, 50 people?) bought one within the first couple of weeks of that toy’s release. Now they just hang there on the pegs with their long, pasty-white faces, waiting to be deeply discounted.

It's Legacy Blaster around here. All the deluxes, Bulkhead, and Galvatron are still sitting there.

Legacy is moving around here, except for the few broken figures like Skids and Bulkhead. Except of course Galvatron and the Beasts.
