It's not one thing its death by a thousand cuts. Voyagers are $34-35 up from $30, Deluxes are $24-25 up from $20, leaders are $55 up from $50. Those extra dollars start to add up. Especially when you start seeing this figure which is not only going to cost $34 retail, BUT has hollow parts.

No. It isent. He is exactly how he is ment to look fromm the animation. Any extra paint and hed be Wrong. Whats with you people and wanting them to cake them in paint apps. And add paint details the characrer doesnt have. "It makes it look better to add morr colour" no it doesnt on a g1 figure. All of us who are actually collecting accurate g1 chug figs dont want to haft to fucking buy stickers or repaint over those stupid extra details. . You want more paint apps. Be patient and wait till they rerelease hum repainted as ANOTHER character. Leave pre existing character designs howthey are. Ppl like your are why kingdom redalert they botched with his colours. The budgrt went to making the character look RIGHT. Not colourful and cool.

 

I think that's going to more so be full reveals of Legacy wave 3 and a bunch of other stuff will get held till pulsecon

 

if its costs i getcha. just found it weird cause jhiaxus is not only huge for modern voyager standards but barely has any hollow parts if any. he has been extremely well recieved from what ive seen.

I know, I like him, but if I want to get let's say MDLX Optimus and Megatron (I do), I can't buy as many Deluxe, Voyagers and leaders because they are starting to eat into the budget I have set aside for ThreeZero stuff, or third party. And sadly you can't have everything. Which brings me back to my point about Hasbro losing direct money from me. As their stuff goes up, I look to other brands ThreeZero (yes I know they are licensed, but still), 3rd party, quality KOs, and McFarlane Toys (Spawn mostly). And thus Hasbro's piece of the pie gets smaller.

Its not that I don't want Motormaster, it's that I have to draw a line. And after a) having Xtransbot Motormaster for $140, b) the want to 'collect them all',, and c) wanting to be other stuff at that price point it's tough to keep the King of the Road  .

 

My overpriced earthrise ironhide is not happy.

Looks like I’m buying Ironhide and Ratchet again, lads.

 

Absolutely brilliant. I couldn't have said it better myself.

 

1) CHUG will never be 1:1 to the animation unless you directly rip the CAD to the CG models like a small chunk of Netflix stuff
2) he is missing paint, most notably the stripe

 

It stings even worse when you think that this is a Deluxe and everyone who wants Voyager tooling at Deluxe price is being unreasonable.
And then you realize it's a Voyager.

I see it says Voyager on the front page.

If so then it stings even more.

 

So crazy all around and not to get too off topic from Transformers, but I'm luckier than many, so I have no right to complain about toys. Some people can't feed themselves or their children, very sad  .

Anyway, how about that overpriced Ironhide figure looking super okay  .

 

brb gonna go back to 2008 to tell my past self that in the year 2023 he'll be buying a generations G1 Ironhide and Ratchet for the third time just to see his reaction.
Also gonna tell him I'll be buying a 3rd G1 Arcee as well to see that reaction.

 

Looks great IMO. I do hope this isn't quite the final deco, but if it is, it's nothing Toyhax can't address for me. The mode itself looks solid enough for my needs.

 

Well the shapes there but oof it's tad panel heavy. No where near as bad as Uni 2.0 Ironhide but boy that two tone red makes it stand out a bit.
