He's bitching bout scale, told not to worry cause he's getting what he wants eventually. Then he insults me cause I like something he doesn't. Basically baby can't get his bottle quick enough so hes throwing a temper tantrum. The usual waaaah waah I can't get the figure I want right now bs that all over these forums.
I will say the cores consistently sell out in my area, and the stores seem to like refreshing them more often than the Battlemasters/Rampmasters. Even the cases of Ravage/Shockwave blew by
No, if you actually read what I said, it's because the scale isn't consistent with the line's theme as presented up to this point. I know you don't understand and just go into "dur u h8 evrything" mode but there really is a rationale behind it. And it has absolutely nothing to do with a hypothetical deluxe or fake voyager Ratchet that was never even alluded to by me until right this second. That's a complete strawman and you know it. Hasbro in my view has a pretty horrific track record of poor branding decisions, something that might become more apparent if you collected lines besides TransFormers and thus had a broader view of what's going on. Further, I'm tired of people that can somehow never be the slightest bit critical of a product or decision from corporate, yet somehow manage to whip themselves into a frothing rage at the perceived slight against the corporation that critical thought represents, and somehow think blind appeal to authority gives them the moral high ground to do so. If you don't want to see frightening different viewpoints, there are safe space threads for you (usually marked "blah blah appreciation thread"). Edit: And I shouldn't have to explain this but "♫♫EVERYTHING IS AWESOME♫♫" is a reference to 2014's The Lego Movie. The soundtrack is catchy but it's just about the dumbest statement I've ever heard. If everything is awesome, then nothing is, because by definition it has to stand out. It's bad enough that some people's tastes are about a discerning as a garbage disposal (and easily corralled into us-vs-them tribalism) but it's beyond arrogant to presume that implies any sort of broad-based sense of overwhelming reverence, admiration, or fear.
I'm loving the core class! Great articulation and detail for pocket sized figures that take up so much less space!
This is what you get when fans lose sight of the core conceit of the brand: Toys. Are. For. Fun. Just because scale is now a design goal doesn't mean it's an "UNBREAKABLE RULE. Violations will be punished with DEATH". Have some fucking perspective, man. Core exists because toys are getting fucking expensive. So a fun, relatively cheap, pocket-sized representation of popular characters isn't exactly a bad thing. Especially when they at least have Titans they can interact with.
I missed out on a lot of the first core classes from Kingdom and I\'m really starting to regret it. These things look really god for their scale and the transformations are fun and quick to do. Here is an idea I had that kinda seems like a shower thought but what if hasbro made voyager or maybe leader scale titans, Metroplex, Fort Max, etc that could interact with these little guys, almost like an expansion of what the modulators from er were trying to do.
Just found him on Amazon at normal retail price! (Not the $44 whatever 3rd party was trying to sell him for)
Amazon has weird pricing going on. Price switched to $6.8 for a few hours in early morning & at night.
Yeah and I was able to buy one at that price; should be here next week......I thought it was a scam or something. :/
Amazon price matches to competing sites, such as Target....but as competitor sites run out of stock they have no incentive to match a sale price.
Amazon's got a weird price matching algorithm, and you see it happen most often with Core stuff for whatever reason. I bought mine at the regular $12 or whatever a month or so ago, and then a week or two back my bass player got one for like $8 out of the blue.
You should probably look at how many releases they do in various sizes/classes year over year. Core isn't exploding the way you think it is.
I agree here. This is why I don't blow up over toys. If I don't like a toy I don't buy it. If I like a toy I buy it. There's no shilling, no defending companies, no simping, no nothing. Just a desire to have cool toys. Some people like this lose more than just perspective. They lose themselves in a silly mentality where they think they're defending the fans but in reality they're just fools who don't ACTUALLY know what they're talking about. It's the classic mentality of "I think EVERYONE should think the same way I do, and everyone are fools if they don't." Sorry, I don't listen to clowns. I just listen to what my heart says about toys. Ratchet is pretty great and I love him. I'm totally glad that an Ironhide is coming and I'll eagerly continue to buy Core Class as long as it continues to satisfy me.
I don't recall saying Core was "exploding". But after the last Pulse Con they added combiners so the size class is at least growing.
