Had done the same. wanted to get everyone else the opportunity on here before they disappear or go off sale too. Hopefully they make more cool ones but don’t know how well they are selling.

so all of you that bought the megatron helmet did yours arrive in good shape? I bought the soundwave and megatron helmets and mine were either store display models or returns as they were both already opened and both damaged. Megatron looks good on outside but looks like freddy kruger got in a fight on the inside on one side. not even sure how that could of happened, deep gouges.
the soundwave had cracked lenses and shoddy paint. I am sending that one back for replacement.

 

Mine seem fine. But then, I preordered mine and picked them up in store.

 

can you (or anyone that bought megatron helmet) confirm if yours has the same issue mine has. been bugging me more and more now (probably due to shelf its on makes it show up real badly) if megatrons outer helmet fits nice and flush or has quite a gap in fitting. maybe gap is wrong word but it won't fit together on mine how I think its supposed to. I tried pinching it really hard but it just won't snap in. see picture for what I am talking about.

 

Never mind. Found a GameStop with one in stock. Traded mine and new one is fine.

 

I'm templating whether or not I should just buy this and then build the rest of the character myself. Molding a shape for a helmet, especially for a full head, is not very easy. I can probably do the limbs, but no idea what material to use.

I want to do a HumanFormers cosplay for Megatron and am feeling a bit lazy for the helmet. Is it possible to disassemble the helmet and remove the face part? Does anyone have any decent pics of the inside? If I have to 3d print or make it out of foam I can do that. I'd just rather not reinvent the wheel if I can help it.
