Not really sold on that one, but NA loves remolds and repaints so who knows what we'll get. Hoping for the Combiner Hunter or TF Prime colors personally.

 

Dr. Wu x Mechanic Toys car mode is better. Bot mode not sure which I like more. Already have Dr. Wu and will be getting this one and than both figures will spend a week in my display to see which I like more in bot mode. Which ever I choose will be the Paradron Medic I buy. Think for Elita-1 I'm going Dr. Wu, even if Newage does her, like the taller leader female. Now if MST can also do Nightbird which is between Newage and Dr. Wu for a dynamic female Cybertronian display.

The way that face comes off made me think about the host in Westworld.

Not sure how i feel about this one...

that peg on one leg and hole on the other kinda bothers me, but the paint / colors / joints seem fine... There are definite pros and cons to both NA and Dr Wu that one will have some trouble choosing, or which repaint from which company to get if one wants to have different mold for the misc repaints.

 

She's looking great. Looking really forward to this one. Newage is giving us some great bots this summer!

And that face sculpt is excellent. That shot with the Takara one.. Man Takara made some strange choices..

 

It’s amazing to me that one of the best Arcee transformations comes out of a legends scale bot. This thing is slick.

 

She looks incredible. So glad I waited for this one.

 

bot looks fantastic, there's no arguing that. probably one of the best in any scale. really impressed with the head and chest transformation. but that leg peg sticking out like that is a damn eye sore.  

not sure what they were thinking, but feel NA could have and should have done better with that. perhaps instead of folder back horizontally, maybe positioned it to flip upward into the thigh so it could be flush.

if i get this, i'd be tempted to just cut that part clean off and peg the end piece into the hole in the other thigh just to fill it out. assuming the alt still hold together relatively well without the peg locking the thighs together, i'd seriously consider that route just to get rid of that thing.

but that alt, to me that's gotta be one of the worst from NA to date.   it's entering MS territory for really bad lines and proportions.   agree with some that MFT arcee alt wins hands down over NA alt.  

 

If the peg and hole had been on the outside it could've been used to holster her handguns. I know it's not G1 accurate but I would have liked it more than now. The peg also could have been smaller I think so that it would incorporate into the leg, the hole is a lesser eyesore for me.

Hope they follow the Galvatron trend and the following Autobot movie bot is as good, in bot as in alt mode, as Cyclonus.

Do like the paint on the visor. Hope Paradron Medic, would be amazed if Newage didn't do this recolor, also comes with the visor head so they can have different heads.

 

I'm starting to think that maybe NewAge just hates legs. Like, hates legs. Megatron, 3 of the Constructicons, Grimlock, and now Arcee all have some poor design choices related to their legs.

If NA decides to redesign Arcee's legs and send out replacements at some later date, I will laaaaaaaaaaaaaugh.

I'm getting her because I love bot mode, but after playing with Mechanic Toys'... I don't think this is going to be my favourite legends Arcee. Alt mode feels too compromised.

Edit:. I don't mind about the peg. I feel that's nitpicking.

Probably no room to have the peg fold up. I imagine there’s a mushroom peg there for the thigh swivel.
Agreed that the peg really doesn’t look great sticking out the back like that.

Yeah that leg peg seems like it could have been engineered better. They like to always save nailing the legs until the 2nd release.

 

Definitely chopping that leg peg off. If the alt mode suffers for it, so be it. She'll spend almost all her time in bot mode and that thing is just hideous.

 

I may wait for a premium version of arcee to confirm, but it seems like NA reveals are so close to release that they can’t make even the smallest changes.
Newage is really racking up the fomo buys from me.

 

Not sure what you mean. Several releases eventually got new legs. Their Optimus got new shoulders and elbows in later releases. Grimlock is getting leg covers. A better connection for Arcee is a very reasonable hope.

 

No it's not 5.3". IIRC, it's about 9.2cm. TFSource just doesn't have the right size
