As of this morning, Albany Walmart just had Burnout and Road Rocket. Rotterdam was empty of anything new. I was able to get Cosmos and Clampdown from the Walmart in Utica (I think, I'm traveling and I hit it as I passed it). The rest of the deluxe wave is still there but the voyagers were not.
Glad a fellow member grabbed ‘em. Passed on them this morning as Pulse had charged me for my preorders. Leaders & Voyagers are in stock there, just not put out yet.
Figures the day I decide to order Motormaster from BBTS is when Pusle tells me they're getting theirs soon. Would anyone here want a spare Motormaster or should I cancel the Pulse one? EDIT: I canceled the Pulse order
Why on Earth would they not put him in there? Really hoping he's gonna be in some future wave or line. It's extra puzzling since they made a new mold for him, and well not that many opportunities for reuse there. Anyways, friend checked East Syracuse and Camillus Wal-Marts for me, no Velocetron yet.
A lot of 6+ in stock notices in the Utica area for Velocitron deluxe. Herkimer, New Hartford, Rome. Whether or not they’ve been put out remains the question.
Jay St. Gaming at the Crossgates Mall in Albany has Studio series Bayverse Galvatron, BB Movie Thundercracker, Legends Jhiaxus, and Selects toy version Cyclonus. Bit over retail, but gas prices being what they are, it works out.
Just have to rant right now. Sunday the Legacy Motormasters at Target went live for purchase. I ordered one from my local store and it was canceled by the store because they were all sold out, no big deal it happens. I then ordered one from the next closest Target and the order went through, and I received the "your order is ready to pick up". Went to pick it up the next day, staff could not find it!! They refunded my order with no explanation. I get there is limited stock but if i get the email that my order is ready i expect to pick it up.
They may or may not have caught on. I’ve noticed after 7/31, Motormaster went from seeing 2 available on the Target app & PopFindr quickly went to zero on 8/1, no matter what zip you put in throughout the nation.
Every Walmart around me says 6+ velo deluxe available. I’ve been to two and they both“can’t find them.”
Yea every walmart I've been to that has shown stock has not been reliable. Distribution seems like it's getting worse IMO
Oh it absolutely is. I follow a MOTU group on Facebook. And apparently California Targets are selling thier "overstock" of He-man figures to Liquidation stores (Think Ollies) which is selling them dirt cheap. Meanwhile said figures haven't seen the light of day here on the East Coast.
That's insane, everywhere in Buffalo has had the same motu origins wave on pegs this whole year, meanwhile I'm seeing collector shops selling origins figures for more than double retail. Even the ones that are still on retail shelves. What's going on with toy collecting lately
