Mine should be here tomorrow and I'm pretty stoked! (Not looking forward to putting the stickers on because I'm never good at that, but I can't just leave him un-stickered!)

For stickers, I switched to application with tweezers so I can be more precise than I can be with my fingers, and so I get less oil from my skin on the adhesive.

 

Yeah, that's the move - I have one I bought forever ago for some Gunpla I was building but I haven't had to bust it out in a second, good call!

 

I got mine today! His limbs are a little loose-feeling but not in a way that prevents him from standing up or anything, and he looks so good I'm not gonna care much either way

 

Ah, right I cancelled my pre-order because of the release deluge happening. Once the dust settles I gotta check if I can squeeze him into my budget.

 

So did we find out if that was a real first look at Gen Selects Cyclonus or not

 

I got mine Friday from Pulse. The right shoulder was very loose, wouldn't stay up sideways with Nightstick, had to back the screw out and put it back in to tighten it properly. The sticker sheet was cut wrong, about a 1/4" too high. I wasn't planning to put the stickers on him anyway so whatever. Looks really nice in toy colors.

 

Finally got the selects Cyclonus in! A little parts-swapping, a little paint, and my "Rebirth" cons have their proper target masters!


I even fixed Scourge to give him a proper alt mode!  

 

I know, and have you heard the rumours about a possible Lego Optimus Prime?

Got my Cyclonus today. It's funny to me how as a kid, I really wanted more movie-accurate figures, but now I like this toy-colors Cyclonus much more than the Kingdom version.

My shoulders are a little loose but he can hold up Nightstick. His left knee is super-tight, though.

 

Mine arrived today and it's left shoulder that's loose.
The screw is an easy fix.
The pin however.....

So I got mine today, and sadly his arms are loose. Right arm can hold a pose unless it’s holding an accessory, in which case it falls. Left arm though, spins like a propeller. Since they’re pinned joints, anyone have any suggestions to tighten them?

Mine has the mismatched shoulder-flap connectors, and the loose left arm, AND the too-tight right knee that ripped the thigh sticker. Some combination of all 3 of these problems are common enough that there is no expectation getting a replacement would be better. You can tell which version of this mold was made before COVID gunked up the workforce and factories and QC and which one after.

 

i'm happy with him, though mine does have slightly loose shoulders

 

Same as always, just get some floor polish, a few drops onto the parts and let dry for a few days, repeat if needed.
