The last few years, S7 generally hasn't actually revealed anything at SDCC. Just showed off already announced figures and/or grey prototypes and sold their exclusives and shirts.
Yeah, they get a marketing boost from having their reveals coincide with the pre-order. With Ultimates, they need to take any advantage they can get to sustain sales. It probably wouldn't hurt ReAction as much. In fact, a lot of ReAction pre-orders predate any kind of reveal images.
Damn, haven't gotten my shipment notice yet but it's nice it should be coming soon. I'm spending all this damn money and nothing to show for it. I only hope that my G.I. Joe B.A.T. doesn't delay it getting shipped.
Welp, it looks like BBTS is offering up the Glow-in-the-Dark Mumm-Ra's again at a pretty significant price increase. They are available for PO for the paltry sum of $84.99 a piece. Last time around the were ~$49.99 IIRC. ThunderCats Ultimates! Mumm-Ra (Glow-in-the-Dark) BBTS Exclusive
They are just some stragglers, not a new production run. If you sort by quantity, they are at the very bottom of the Thundercats. They probably have like 10 of them. I know it's controversial, but I don't have much of a problem with BBTS marking up previously sold out items that they have in limited quantities. If they offered these at the regular price, you'd never even have a chance to buy them. They'd be snapped up by resellers looking to flip them.
That's okay, I have enough of a problem with it for the both of us. Either way people are getting the shake down.
Haha. That figures. I cancelled mine (except vultureman) and ordered all from EE over a week ago since they were “in stock”. Yeah…still processing. This is the longest it has taken them to ship for me.
Yeah, I think I'm done with EE unless they have something I can't get anywhere else. 5 days of processing then shipping stalled and got delayed another 4 days... The shipping part isn't really their fault but 5 days to put it in a box and slap a label on it is pretty ridiculous.
And despite that, they won't cancel items once they've moved to "processing" if they've charged. Making that worse, they don't send "processing soon" emails like BBTS does.
Her face deco looks pretty much perfect in that light. Mine is currently on the way to me…hopefully mine isn’t cross-eyed…
Just got my Bengali and Hammerhand today. Also included a pic of my Vultureman that came in last Saturday. Super 7 has really been doing a good job as of late. I'll be skipping the wave 6 LJN style wave, but I look forward to seeing what wave 7 will entail.
Yep, my Vultureman is processing there as well. I have Bengali on order with Dorkside so that'll be in when wave 10 starts shipping.
But Lion O looks so cross-eyed lol But I didn't feel like painting him yet, gotta prepare myself mentally enduring the torture of painting eyes lol
