Huber Hts Target was pretty barren in the toys aisles last night. They're going through a remodel and most of the toy shelves were half empty, almost like they were about to do a reset. They did have 1 each of the BB movie Ironhide and Arcee, which I picked up. No Red Cogs as far as I could see. Also, the collectors section along the back wall was completely gone and they've moved the remaining stuff (mostly Funco Pops) to an adjacent aisle. I hope that's not a trend for all Targets. Has anyone else seen the new Hammond Collection T-Rex in stores around the Dayton area? I've tried 2 stores that said limited stock on Target's website but both times they weren't in store when I got there.
I saw Creatures Collide at Sawmill Target on Monday morning, didn't see it at Trueman Blvd shortly afterwards. That could have been because they just hadn't put it out yet though, haven't been back since. Trueman Blvd had one Motormaster left on Monday after I got mine, no clue if its still there but the guy who helped me did say that most all of the Columbus area stores had at least two at the time.
Was at Wooster Walmart yesterday and I just got out of Wadsworth Walmart. Seems as if the BW Reissues are beginning to hit clearance! Scorponok is $30, Tigatron is $17 Here is the rest of the shelf, they’ve got quite a lot, including the Legacy Beasts!
With how often these BW reissues are going on clearance and how the G1 reissues usually did the same I’m surprised they haven’t outright canned non-Masterpiece reissues
Fairlawn Target has 4 Legacy Skids and Arcees each, a case of SS Sweeps, lots of Bulkheads, Coronation Starscreams and Cyberverse stuff. They do have two SS 84 Ironhide figures if anybody is interested Edit: THEY HAVE TERRORSAUR, DINOBOT AND THE 4-Pack
They legit haven't sold worth shit ever. I am beyond shocked they are still dedicating shelf space to them.
My only problem with them is that they don’t release enough different characters. AFAIK I’ve bought all the ones that have come out so far but that’s all I can do without owning ten of each guy. I kinda wish they were packed in a wave of like 4 characters or something instead of 1 or 2 and I would definitely have been able to buy more
I think the fact that most of the reissues they’ve done got a new figure in Kingdom doesn’t help either. I’m pretty the only three who didn’t get a new figure were Retrax, Wolfang, and Cybershark
Thanks for the tip! I picked one up there tonight. If anyone else is interested, there were several other Creatures Collide 4-packs there after I left with one. There were also many Terrosaurs and Dinobots as well. As far as less recent stuff goes, there were 2 Legacy Galvatrons, a SS86 Starscream, a couple BB Blue Streaks, a couple BB Kups, and a couple SS86 Sweeps. No Sludge, Motormaster, Blitzwing, or Red Cog.
Milford target had about 3 4 pack with gold bug, some terrorsaur and some Dinobots. I passed on the 4 pack as I really only want gold bug and maybe ransack and just don’t feel like shelling out almost 80 bucks for them
E Broad Street and Morse Crossing Targets don’t have Red Cog. Going to check Polaris on Saturday and if they don’t I’m calling it quits. I’ve checked Morse Crossing twice and I’ve got to much crap going on to get frustrated over Target not stocking figures. Thankfully BBTS got in Sludge for me since it doesn’t look like anyone else was going to carry it. If anyone in the Columbus area finds an MOTU Origins Roton please keep me posted thank you.
Red Cog is part of the new set and buried in most backrooms. Won't be out until Sunday at the earliest at most stores
Sawmill Target still had half a dozen of them the other day when I was there, if I'd thought to hang on to the receipt I would snag the DPCI code but alas I didn't and its not showing on the account section of the Target website either.
Yeah, some stores put the new stuff out already, but most aren't until the new planograms are set, which is supposed to be done on Sunday.
I wonder if wave 2 Deluxes are part of the planogram/reset? I wonder if they'll be coming next week or so. (Should be.)
