We already knew that about Animated though, nothing needed to be confirmed. All it does is shut up the people spreading false information, and it likely won't shut them up either because they'll come up with some conspiracy about how the design team isn't telling the truth.

Oh I get that and to an extent that's not a bad thing. I also hate some of that as well. That statement also just to me means we can put to rest that Hasbro not doing RID01 stuff isn't cause of show or character rights not being owned

 

Yep, but even then, in regards to Rid01, we've gotten Skybyte from FunPub, T30 and Cyberverse, got Scourge from FunPub and an inaccurate Scourge from Legacy (and the deco designer even admitted to kinda doing what he wanted instead of aiming for accuracy), and there's the homage of Siege Ultra Magnus' vehicle mode being based on Rid01

I got the Velocitron one but tbh if we got a proper Scourge color version in something else or Velocitron wave 2 and that was the main paint compromise I’ll take it.

 

Thanks for the correction, couldn't remember exactly. So it's as simple as he made a judgement call, and personally, I think he made the right one. I know I might be in the minority in this position, but I absolutely love the deco they went with for him.

 

Animated has become the Alternators of this fandom.
