I feel the same. This doesn't shock me, but I never expected it. Alan Tudyk is always wonderful. Agreed on what he is doing with the voice. Clearly sounds like an Optimus Prime but feels different and not an imitation.

But really other than him and Diedrich Bader the others are unknowns to me.

 

Danny Pudi I also recognize, primarily as Huey Duck in the 2017 Ducktales series. He'll make a great Bumblebee.

Tudyks sounds like he's going for a lower ham version of Cullen's Prime voice. Almost like Neil Kaplan.

Getting kind of Rescue Bots vibe where Prime assigns a human family to test a potential future for Transformers on Earth, only this time he leaves Bumblebee in charge.

Elita-1 as Primes' 2nd in command has really gained traction.

I'm kind of curious about the antagonists because it seems like Mandroid (Diedrich Bader!) and his robots are the main villains, the war is over, but we have Bumblebee shooting Insecticons. It seems like Megatrons' methods and ideals are still the same so I wonder if he's going to be in the background setting up havoc to reignite the war or revive the Decepticons.

 

Wow, the one positive I can say about this show is what a difference voice ACTORS makes!!! Watching Cyberverse was painful—felt like a high-budget YouTube fan show, so this is finally feeling professionally made again

 

It is nice to see them using professional actors and voice actors again...although there were some processional VA's in the WFC trilogy, they just had bad direction.

 

Rory Mccann as Megs is an exciting choice. Might tune in just to see how that plays out

 

Yeah, while I would personally prefer Cullen to be back I'm glad they're at least going to a well-known guy to play Prime
