TM2 Megatron looks really cheap, I will take a 3P route this time.

Once again the old toy is A LOT OF times better than the newer one, amazing Hasbro, amazing.

 

Metalhawk is a Voyager.

 

Alongside the shell's belt, shoulder pauldrons and knee spikes.

 

Those old toys may be lacking in articulation but they have more presence. The newer BW updates feel flat in terms of colours and proportions.

Legacy TM2 Megs doesn’t even look bad or anything, but the proportions and plastic make it look so bland and, as you said, cheap. The original with its gradient wings, chrome, and black plastic and paint apps looked way more visually striking than the sea of red on Legacy.

 

This is so gonna be a hot take: I really like that he has no chrome on him can I feel like I could mess with him and not have to worry about any chrome flaking off of him (like my TM2 Dinobot).

So if we get more transmetals I hope they are the same.

Also I get what your saying about presence and I can see it but personally and this is just me but I find the new figures way more interesting like for example vintage BW Megatron and Kingdom Megs. The og while cool just never look interesting or wanting to own were as the Kingdom figure I love and that's from someone who doesn't even love S1 Megatrons designs all that much.
