The thing people fail to comprehend with these 2 G.I. Joe crossovers is that they're G.I. Joe vehicles first and Transformers second, while all of the other collaborative figures were just made to be Transformers. These were revealed during G.I. Joe events and were designed to replicate the old O-Ring scale vehicles, complete with driver compatibility. More so than any other collaborative figure, the Transformer is entirely secondary to the crossover.
Oh, I get that the priority is to the alt mode first… but more effort into a better bot mode would be more than welcome.
This xover is just amazing but the problem is the Hasbro low quality plastic. This event is totally shameless considering the current yellow issue, that is the first topic that Hasbro must address but they don’t say anything, they want to sell toys and who cares about the low quality?
You’re wrong in my eyes and I know that as fans we should spend the next few pages fighting about it, but I’ll probably just go for a walk or something instead.
They’re aware of it and are taking steps to prevent it going forward. It’s going to take a while to see changes. Do you expect them to just stop selling transformers until this yellowing issue is fixed 6-7 months from now, and just throw away all the transformers still waiting for their boat? Completely halt production until new sources of plastics are tested and purchased, so we don’t see any new TF releases until late next year? no thanks.
That is what I'm judging by. It's an opinion. Love both franchises but their implementation I'm not feeling. I hate most crossover stuff
What's funny about the yellowing thing is to collectors it's annoying but kids aren't going to give a shit. Like how none of us as a kid gave a shit when rubber tires on toys did that thing where they split perfectly in one spot as if cut by a knife.
i cared about both those things. I stopped playing with with some of the toys I had that discolored because they didn’t look right anymore.
It's a peculiar way of thinking about it... I'd also disagree. Consider that the recent toy lines have been making heftier figures, standardized added articulation like ankle tilts, and are making all sorts of G1 friendly offerings that folks dub some figures"mini masterpiece" as they're that good.... Course these also come with increasing costs... But until the WFC trilogy figures weren't getting this sort of improved quality, accuracy, and articulation. If they're just interested in cheapo plastic to sell kiddies... They'd make non-stop Bumblebee and Prime figures, and Cyberverse quality figures would be the norm... (No offense to those that enjoy that line, point is more so about the simplicity of the figures.) The plastic *may* have been formulated to cut some corners... But the designs are such that they're catering to s collecting audience. Kids aren't going to care so much about how accurate Blaster is to his G1 boom box. Won't even know wtf that is, even.
No they wouldn't. Because even kids tire of the same characters. Which is why they find ways to mix Bee and Prime throughout a diverse array of other characters.
You can say that about any legitimate criticism. Kids don’t care about a lot. Doesn’t really mean anything.
If anyone ever wants to sell me their Stalker figure, which is the only part I am interested in, lmk.
Yeah I got a notification from Pulse that mine’s getting ready to ship. This has been happening to me all week. Most of the non-TF stuff I preordered that was set to come out next year has either arrived or shipped out to me this week.
