It's supposed to be flat. It's a low-vis colourscheme. It partially absorbs light. Shiny, metallic paint gets you shot down. Military craft aren't shiny unless they're specifically exhibition vehicles. Honestly, he needs a shot of flat topcoat to make him more accurate.
People probably mistake it for needing to be shiny from this shot. The helicopter still very much isn’t shiny though as you said.
Not that laymen understand lighting, but the fact that the thing is under intense spotlights and is only highlighted by soft glows instead of throwing up lens-flares all over the damned place (putting aside that cinematically mandated one on the front) should be telling.
Recent photos from a Japanese TF Twitta: All eyes will be on Hasbro Tomorrow, so surely they'll tell us when he'll be up for Pre-order then? Obviously ignoring the few copies that have already gotten out early, Hasbro themselves really haven't shown him off much at all. So if they do so tomorrow during SDCC then it'll at the very least be useful for drawing in however many potential Customers that still remain in the "It's just SS Blackout" camp into maybe wanting to purchase it.
If he pops up at target august 1 I’ll absolutely get him then but I think his leaked listing came out to like $153 so after you factor tax in it should come out to about the same
I was gonna Pre-order via Target, but their Website is a Buggy and irritating mess. That and I read some other user's experience with their shipping, sooo pshh. I might try and snag him on Pulse instead.
I'll be getting it instore. That way I'll get him six months before you, even tho you pre-ordered lol NICE!!! not jealous of that at alllllll :/
Oh, he's already out at retail. Lol. Transformers Legacy Metroplex, Masterpiece Movie MPM-13 Blackout & New Cyberverse Deluxe 3-Pack Found At US Retail - Transformers News - TFW2005
So did it not ring up or they didn’t buy it bc knowing the retail price would be great. Maybe I missed it, but I’d love to have confirmation regardless.
