I wonder if the reason she's called a "witch" is because she can psychically control her Gundam? The shot of it reaching out has her eyes reflected in the glass.
Wouldn't be a Gundam series without some Newtype-adjacent shenanigans. And if they're giving her Bit weapons from the get-go, that also tends to point in that general direction.
"Become"? Bits/Funnels are an expansion of the Zeong's remote hand weapons from the very first series. They've always been a thing.
Thanks to the Figure-Rise model of Sletta, we know she has a Haro. We know they have a tendency to control Bits, and shields, and flight controls...
I think the most surprising aspect is that we're getting Bits right out of the gate, as they're typically more mid-to-endgame tech in each series. Makes you wonder what the arms race is going to look like this time.

I was under the impression it was just the shield that would double as a flight pack, but now seeing the bits scatter and rearrange itself as additional armor and weapon parts, who knows. It would be a first for Gundam as a whole to see beam spam function as laser propulsion. Looking at the other kits previewed with weapon packs and armor like 30MM kits, versatility is part of this universe's technology.
Yeah, it's also briefly shown strapped to Aerial's back in an "X" Formation, or at least, forming a tailed skirt of sorts.
