    For a second, the Prime Day picture on the front page made me think this had been revealed as MPM-12 with an Amazon trailer. :lol

    Looks like the plans really were scrapped, after all. Almost as if the "twitter brainlets" that think Amazon abusing it's workers is a bad thing are a majority and Hasbro believes it'd be bad optics to release a product entirely based around the Amazon brand.

    Well, Amazon are trying to reinvent Tolkien in their image. I don't think Optimus would be safe, either.

    Perhaps if I hadn't personally known people who've actually been through the 'Amazon experience' (I couldn't believe some of the stuff they'd described to me - kind of grim, if it represents the kind of employment future our kids are in for), I might have been a bit more 'tolerant' of this.

    As a concept, 'Amazon Prime' is kind of interesting. Unfortunately, an awareness of some of the less savoury stuff going on behind the scenes has put a dent in my enthusiasm for something like this - especially if they're using Optimus as a representative.

    Yeah, I've got a freind who worked for Amazon. Job left her in constant pain, she manages to stay there for just over a year before the pay wasn't worth the risk or permanent damage
