Hey guys, what do you think if you compare Optimus Prime from the RED line against Super 7 ultimate Optimus Prime, what's your opinion... I have both and I'm really not convinced about them... The Ultimate version looks like a platic Toy in the details and the RED is lacking more vivid colors!

I just want more Action Masters or Pretenders. Action Masters especially.

If you want a good Action Master, get the MDLX.

 

That's non-articulated and about the same size as Super7 Ultimates, but it doesn't look at all like an Action Master design. The Super7 Banzai-Tron figure, by contrast, has sculpting that is consistent with that. They're both on the big side, but Banzai-Tron is a better fit with a Generations-style collection.

Yeahhh, not sure where this comment is coming from about the MDLX line, receipts for proof. No it's not toon/toy, but it's certainly no statue.

A common mistake, no worries.

But I thought since we were on the topic of articulated non-transforming figures, I thought I'd recommend one that's quite good for the price!

 

For sure, I'm going to get the Rodimus MDLX whenever it's formally offered. Though I have enough non-transforming toys for their own shelf, at least for me, that's not where they fit. I plan to put Action Master characters with other late G1 Generations. Rodimus goes with other Rodimuses. Rodimi? Not the only grouping, but my rationale, and what I was trying to indicate in my incorrectly worded original reply.

 

Wave 2 has been in tooling review at the factory for months. My Bludgeon pre-order is over a year old now. Estimated delivery in April 2022 my ass.
