I have a feeling MCU is building towards stuff we aren't even aware of right now.

All we know is that Feige did said we nearing the end of Phase 4

Talking of Phase 2, even when the Phase started with IM3 and Thor 2, people were going about how Marvel's best days were behind us, given those films werent well received, which is the same state we are right now, but then Marvel was to pick things up, but also as i discussed with someone else in another site, lets not forget that most of the Phase 1 slate was not exactly beloved, Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America had more mixed reaction from the audience compared to Iron Man 1 and Avengers which were the only highly acclaimed films in Phase 1, so its not like Marvel did a beloved film after beloved film after beloved film, they had their fair share of films that werent highly acclaimed, it wasnt until Phase 3 that they had more of a winning streak with the reception of their films

The fact is the MCU is always going to have down time no matter what. I think it just feels slower than normal right now due to there being no movies in 2020.

According to Wiki there are still 5 films left in Phase 4 (film series) and it ends with the Fantastic 4.

Unless I missed it, there was no explanation for
Thor's prosthetic eye switching from brown to blue
    was there?

Well....that was certainly a movie I watched today....

I don't know what I expected, but it certainly wasn't what I got.

It was OK. I went in expecting it to be goofy and it was, so I wasn’t surprised like I was with Ragnarok. If they make more Thor movies, I’d like to see a different creative team have a stab at it. I don’t dislike Ragnarok or LaT, but I don’t want any further movies to get any goofier.

This will probably sound silly, but one thing that irritated me was when
Korg was telling the story about how much loss Thor has endured, and he referred to the Warriors Three as “this guy” and “this guy” and “that guy,” or something to that effect. I don’t know, I just thought it was kinda shitty to be so dismissive of them.

I really liked Ragnarok, this not so much. There was zero crowd excitement during the movie and when it ended absolutely dead pan silence no reaction. It wasn't bad it just had no excitement and edge. So Disneyfied and directed to appeal to young girls I guess which is not really the Thor crowd. Thor is not the Wonder Woman of Marvel Comics, little girls do not read it. They've been slowly turning Thor into a total joke for a long time and he's finally reached his destination. Pretty disappointing.

Agreed but seriously? Do you ACTUALLY know anyone who remembers their names? Hell, a lot of people forgot Sif even existed again till she was reintroduced.

Yes, seriously. I'm speaking for myself. I don't care if anyone else remembers their names.

So I think I enjoyed it more than most. It has it flaws but it worked for me because going into it I was worried it was going to be too goofy so I was prepared for that. I think if they were to cut 3 silly moments the movie would have worked better.

Still great visuals and enjoyed Jane way much more than I was expecting. Will need it to settle a bit more and maybe watch Thor 1, 2, and 3 to figure out what works and what does not.

I was entertained watching and would say it is my second favorite movie in Phase 4

    Spider-Man No Way Home
    Thor Love and Thunder
    Black Widow
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
    Shang-Chi
    The Eternals

Spiderman is the only great movie of phase 4. Thor, Black Widow, and Doctor Strange are all good but have a couple things missing for me or off. Now I know it is weird to have Black Widow above Doctor Strange. Just a strange opinion of mine.

Shang-Chi was good until the end and became generic CGI monster fight and Eternals exists.

Anyone else feel like the music mixing was terrible? All the big songs were weak background music. They've always been big impact and blasting loud but they made no impact in this movie.

There were definitely some points that should’ve been edited. Like the opening with Thor, once the song starts in earnest, he’s not actually hitting anything but is just standing there. And it happened other times too. It’s like if the epic “Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo” of Duel of the Fates played as Maul stood in line for a coffee.

Not the vibe at my cinema. There was lots of laughing, and a big applause at the end.
I think it really depends on what you want from a Thor movie. I loved it and I think it's the most entertaining Thor movie yet.

Same. Packed cinema and big reactions. Which says something in Japan where people are generally as quiet as a mouse.
