I think the Generations line is known for having issues with clear plastic. As much as the MP line is accused of being a QC sh!tfest, clear plastic has never been an issue.

Yeah dunno. Seems the toe could have just slot onto it's base/pivot but instead they used a mushroom peg that gives it independent tilt that isn't really useful for anything.

Seriously, people think takara clear plastic is like Hasbro clear plastic. I blame him and ThatToyGuy for the fear mongering around it because of all issues MP's have, clear plastic has NEVER been one of them lmao

Wheeljack's wing but that was because people were bending them at the hinge when you don't have to. Which is weird because when you are trying bend them to 90 degrees it feels awkward

Train mode HO scale is the primary objective for this set. I understand probably most ppl here don't care(including me) but Takara is trying to target train enthusiasts in Japan because Japanese loves their choo-choo just as much as their waifus.

Wow, could almost get a lump in my throat about a Japanese train! :)

Somehow I just don't see the last Intercity 225 departing into the sunset to music and a standing ovation from a packed station!!! :)  That OG Shinkansen is something special.

Hug your Shouki's and kiss them good night, all. :)

I have a question, is takara\'s transparent plastic more resistant or something like that?

So I shouldn\'t be afraid if one day I get a Shouki?
(Although the odds of having one are low.)

It depends, if you read the post here you get one impression, reading the review in the feedback thread you get another.

Longer answer: He's been fantastic for me. Train mode looks awesome. Bot mode looks great and combined mode looks ... like it's missing a bunch of stuff... namely some limbs and a bit more torso... haha but it pretty good so far. I can't vouch for anyone else's figure but my figure is fantastic with no qc issues. So if anyone is asking for opinions as to if they should buy it or not, I'm going say "yes".

I think he's great. The train mode is the star of the show here.

Yes. Most of the MP toys are loaded with clear plastic and breakage has never been an issue. Definitely won’t see stuff like in the mainline with SS86 Jazz etc.
