    YouTube (Legacy):
It seems to be similar to the siege version (which is a good figure in its own right)

The only similarities are that they're both based on the same character.

Sculpt work, proportions, and engineering are very different between the two. They don't share a single similar transformation step. Even the landing gear are in different places.

They're as dissimilar as ER Prime and MP44, or ER Starscream and MP52, etc, etc.

I know he mentions diecast, but I cant quite pick up where he mentioned. Pretty sure its the waist and legs?, maybe someone else caught it. With the exception of Skids and possibly Trailbreaker, looks like they are mirroring somethings from the G1 toys.

That's a big boy! I have FansToys Phoenix and even that one big (back in the day before FT) 3P Jetfire that got a lot of flak for the creator disappearing due to QC issues (my particular copy never had any such issues), but this looks like the definitive Skyfire to me. I might just display Phoenix in alt mode while MP-57 gets all the glory in bot mode.

A "Fan" of culture! Don't sell it! All are testaments on how the character were given differing interpretations (official and unofficially).

Similar as in both are equally awesome:cool: ? Common people, admit it, if Wotofa did not do this pitch hitter, a lot would still be on the fence for MP Skyfire and proclaim that the Siege was the end to all version ( btw, love and own the Siege version as he is the first official cartoon render given a 3D figure(henkei and Legends don't even count but for their time were equally awesome too).

The evolution of a totally not the toy advert in the show now FINALLY given to us (albeit somewhat wallet busting but justified stocking filler) this Christmas 2022 or 2023 January.

Looks good - I still prefer Phoenix over TT's effort (small things like the face, knees, overall stature) but TT's will make a dandy addition to my Decepticon S1 shelf, giving me the best of both worlds. Love the gimmicks on TT's too, I'd happily have a second just to utilise the Gerwalk mode and minifigs...

    You are allowed...

but yeah.. it's most likely not Wotafa holding anything back, he simply worked with what was provided to him. Perhaps they might even still tweak the faceplates and paint finish on the final production spec.
Given the timing, I find it miraculous that he got this sample so early at all. It cemented my preorder decision even more that's for sure.

I love my Fanstoys but I am pretty tempted to pick this one up. The Wotafa preview looked amazing!
