at the moment, with Studio Series listings up, I hope to see either Que or Onslaught. Que has a strong possibility, Onslaught is unknown.

 

Very glad to see Snarl not only get an official confirmation of sorts, but that he's seemingly being released before Swoop. Kind of figured they'd end the Dinobots with him just to make everyone sweat a bit. Guess if Swoop is a (tall) Voyager, there's also a chance they could be released pretty back-to-back or even within the same wave. Either way, can't wait to see BOTH of them sooner than later.

I hope this reveal means we're finally getting closer to some more info about Shrapnel & Bombshell as well. Been chomping at the bit waiting to see what they look like.

 

Yeah. It’s cool we get a confirmed listing, but when is he coming, that’s another story. Grimlock and Slag were released about 3 months apart, but it took a whole year between Slag and Sludge. I’m afraid it will be a while again for Snarl.

Shame Snarl will probably be as impossible to get as the rest of the Dinos.

 

I'm sure we'll get the rest of the Insecticons. It'd be interesting if they release "toy accurate " heads with the retooled characters like they did with Ransack

2018 Generations subline focusing just on Transformers movies, so the 1986 movie, the 6 live-action ones, and now, Rise of the Beasts, movie #7.

onslaught isnt that big which is surprising because most people imagine him the same size as long haul

he is very clearly voyager sized in robot mode, and i dont know what other things he can come with so he can cheese a leader pricepoint

 

Because a codename is never intended to give any clues. It's an internal code used to obfuscate and hide the real names or objects from people like us.

 

When I see him, The vehicle mode is large, but the robot mode not so much. Plus, If Scourge can be a Leader Class, who knows.

 

I conflict between having no Beast Wars style characters and getting every movie on screen character is going to come to a head when this turd floats into theaters next year.

My guess is that Snarl is a retool of Slug, since the pattern for Studio Series Leaders is that the third SS Leader in a year is a reuse/retool/partial of something preexisting:

2019: DOTM Megatron and Jetfire were new molds, but DOTM Optimus was a reuse of #32 Prime

2020: Scavenger and Overload were new molds, but Shockwave was a partial of ROTF Megs.

2021: Grimlock and Slug were brand new, but Grindor was mostly a repaint of Blackout.

2022: Starscream was a straight carry over from Earthrise but with a extra stuff, but Sludge and The Fallen will be new molds

 

It's really a shame the leader class toys don't have the open window, because someone removing Snarl from the package and leaving the empty box would also be screen accurate

That seems likely, but I can't see Slug or Sludge and Snarl sharing anything above the waist (and even then that would counteract their mission of show accuracy with molded toy details).

I like the idea of an eventual Leader Swoop including the Dino Swords. Hopefully he’ll come w a flight stand as well, but idk. That’s probably just wishful thinking.
