Tbh even though it’s said winter 2022 I’m prepared to wait til like April-June next year. Hopefully not but like… I’m trying to be realistic. Hopefully it is here by Christmas but who knows.

Idk. I don’t think so. Just preparing for what in my mind is worst case scenario. I can’t imagine it’d be after that so to me that’s absolute shipping and production issues. Again I don’t think that’ll happen I’m just not going to get my hopes to high that it’ll be by the end of this year, you know?

 

I of course want him, but I'm totally okay with them taking longer, if it guarantees no yellowing...

I'd love an official response from Hasbro saying something about the yellowing issue in regards to VS. I'd even be fine with "we're adding 6 more months lead time to check that we have the correct plastic formula to avoid this issue"

As for the delivery date, I've already paid for it, so there's no surprise charge coming to worry about. At the moment I'm like a kid in July telling mom that I'd like Santa to get me the new toy I see in the store. Yes I want Christmas to come so I can find it under the tree, but for now I'm going to enjoy summer vacation and forget Santa & Christmas until I get over the Halloween sugar rush.

 

Did a recent Haslab product have significant rapid yellowing? I don’t really follow them so I’m not sure if you guys are just joking around for lack of news or if they actually screwed something up.

 

The legacy Menasor/Motormaster is already showing significant yellowing on some figures. Then there are some saying a lot of ER figures are experiencing yellowing (I have not personally experienced this and every user I have seen that says their figures are yellowing has yet to provide proof so take it with a grain of salt). Motormaster is the real concern though since people are opening them brand new and finding the plastic yellowing.

Yeah, it's a general Hasbro issue. Haslab products are (most likely) manufactured in the same factories as regular product so a plastic recipe issue would theoretically affect any / all product.

 

This thread has a good amount of pictures from some figures. I think the prominent ones are ER Megatron, Netflix Soundwave, Netflix Megatron, and K Cyclonus.

New wfc and even legacy figures are yellowing fast. New ones faster then old ones sometimes.

So people are worried the all white victory saber will turn piss yellow

 

While it really is unacceptable that toys should be yellowing this fast, I’d absolutely take a delay on VS than get it earlier only to have it yellow in a few months.

This shouldn’t be an issue but it is, so if a delay is what it takes so that the only Hasbro TF product I’m genuinely excited for doesn’t come with a countdown to piss itself I’ll take it. I’ll just have a grouchy face on while I do.

I think VS will turn out okay without a delay. Because the problem with the other toys that have/are coming out is that they were already in production and Hasbro wasn’t aware of the issue and it was too late to do anything about it. Now that they know and VS isn’t coming out anytime soon and they know the source of the problem. They can now get ahead of it.

 

All I know is I’m praying to the HasTak gods and Primus for it to be a non issue and that it doesn’t impact production and timely shipping
