Considering some of the stuff we've seen in WfC/Legacy already compared to Titans Returns, never say never...but there's so many they could go back to it's tough to pinpoint who and when.

 

Well, Fangry was released as a Headmaster to go with Repugnus and Twinferno. Twin Twist from the Wreckers collection is the TR figure. And with Legacy going broad in it's figures, the Targetmasters might not be redone for a LONG time.

 

They'll trickle in over time, but you're generally safe buying TR versions of characters that haven't already been redone.

 

I definitely don't mind waiting. its just one of those things where the figure is held down by a gimmick that the character didn't have it was a reason why I didn't get TR Blitzwing.

I also don't mind waiting if the trade off is characters from other continuities. I actually Prefer that.

 

Yeah I most likely could buy them and not deal with it for at least another year, but with my luck they'd reveal them, or get leaked, right after i put my purchase in.

 

I was the same way, but I'll say this; if it looks fun to you, then get it. TR Blitzwing is a fun figure. I've been selling a lot of my figures, and I was looking at TR Blurr. I want to get Velocitron Blurr, so I thought "Do I really need him? He's not a Headmaster, and I have Brainstorm, who's the same mold." and after messing with it again

I decided to keep it. I have Legacy Blitzwing on pre-order, but if I could find Legends BW or that G2 Megatron they did for a good price, I'd buy it! But obviously, we all have our own collecting habits, but I figured I'd give a little insight that could help.

 

To add to what Fenrys said, the Brave Maximus character from Car Robots was even called Fortress Maximus in the English dub RiD 01 version of the show. So, if we were to get a Legacy repaint of the TR Titan Fort Max he likely would be released as "Robots in Disguise 2001 Universe Fortress Maximus".

 

Yeah it looks like a fun toy that's one reason I'm excited for M. Bison to ship and also why I decided to just get the Legacy one. Ill have the best of both world with added benefits as well. I'm also the same way with my SS86 Blurr, I like the mold I just don't like the 86 blurr face, but I don't really need the new oneso if I find the velocitron toy in stores I'll buy it and since I'm combing idw with my g1 stuff Velocitron blurr will fit in decently.
any help is appreciated. I do hope they redo them but waiting is totally fine with me.

 

If the Powerdashers can get new toys, then the Omnibots can do so waaaaaay before some 'orrid bit of tat like a ... watch.

It's actually the Spychanger Hot Shot.

Or given the hard-on for Prime, it turns out to be the blue Bumblebee remold Hot Shot instead of any version from UT.

 

Not a fan of the Velocitron Blurr mold as Blurr, but that mold could make an interesting Fracture, I’d go for that.

 

Was it ever specified what that Velocitron Hot Rod is? Aside from G1 and Bayverse I can’t think of any major Hot Rod designs except from an IDW version.

No, only that it’s a voyager Hot Rod. Could he a repaint, could he a IDW MTMTE Hot Rod/Rodimus. Could be something else.

I... would not mind that. PRiD Hot Shot is one of my favorite figures from that line.

 

Fangry isn't a Monsterbot. Those are Doublecross/Twinferno, Grotusque (who you might be confusing Fangry with) and Repugnus. Fangry is a Headmaster Jr, but used the same base mold as the Monsterbots from Titans Return.
