I'm like 6 episodes into RID01 for the first time and (as expected) my wishlist is growing lol. I want an X-Brawn now and before I didn't.

I have said this before but I consider RiD01 peak transformers. All the brand new designs/molds are insanely good while reusing the some of the best existing designs from every transformer line up to that point.

 

Same, but in this case I'd like them to be redesigned a little so they don't all transform the exact same way.

 

They are neat. I will say if we get a new Sideburn I wouldn't mind if they changed his "design" a little. And what I mean by that is have him be less of the whole hood and windscreen of the car mode hanging off his arm.

 

Still bummed that figure never made it over for the US line. Wanted it so badly as a kid.

 

Didn’t it not sell well at all? IIRC Takara did a crowdfund for it and it only sold a few thousand copies, not enough for the pretender shell stretch goal

 

You're thinking of the recent(ish) Grand Maximus. Brave Maximus hasn't had a new release, they're referring to the figure from Car Robots in 2000 that was never brought over for Robots in Disguise 2001

On the topic of RID01 I will say what I just realized is like other possible JP BW characters after Lio Convoy/Leo Prime. Some/most of whome were repaints of old BW toy only characters. If we got a Gas Skung, Dark Scream, and Slapper that would mean we could get their BW toy characters (maybe as GS) - TM2 Stinkbomb, TM Spittor, TM2 Nightglider.

 

He was a repaint of the G1 Fortress Maximus mold released by Takara during Car Robots in 2000. It was never released state side when Hasbro imported the line as Robots in Disguise in 2001.

Yea I personally like his videos but whenever he talks about Japanese stuff he goes overboard. It's at the point where I'm starting to wonder if he might be legitmately xenophobic or racist

 

He's not, he just has very poor taste

 

What is the possibility of them redoing some of the characters who were titans return but not actual headmasters (like the monsterbots, jumpstarters, targetmasters, Etc.) I don't mind the titans return versions but I don't want to buy them, and see hasbro start remaking them the next day.
