HOLEY MOLEY! The HISS really is tanking it's way thru backing, it's already smashed the requirements for the 1st unlock they just revealed!?!
Maybe the Joe fans are just that much hungrier than us spoiled for releases TF fans after the Joe moratorium toy drought?

The speed in which the HISS Tank was funded proves that giving fans what they want isn't the awful thing companies sometimes want to make it out to be.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Jon! Lots of people who went to Glastonbury going down with it too.

@motorthing get well wishes for the lad too.

5th wedding anniversary today… Mrs is in Morrisons getting some bits so I can make fajitas for tea, while the 4yo is fast asleep in the back after picking her up from nursery.

That’s rock and roll folks! :buttrock

    Thanks! :)

Not been a bad day so far, best news is that Rebecca ferret is no worse and still firing on just about all cylinders.....I even got a birthday bite on the foot! :D

Should have the Professionals box set I got with an Amazon voucher from my sister tomorrow so I can watch it in order for the first time.

They can't make TV like that any more because law enforcement agencies now solve everything by tracking mobile devices so there's less need for car chases around disused warehouses, fist fights or the use of "shooters" :D

So while my hopes of a Pink Spider were foiled by Spider-Gwen's hilariously tiny balljoint, her hoodie piece fits Kat just fine and suits her I think.

    YAIM syndrome. IMG_20220702_160419_HDR.jpg

In terms of single-character numbers Iron Man must be getting up into the Big Leagues with Vader, Luke and Optimus for "Just how many do you own*.........?"

The Comics crank out a couple of variations per year and the MCU is up to 85. That's before you get to hangers on like Rhodey, Rescue and Riri.

A quick count including Toybiz, Hot Toys and Figuarts/Sentinels with the HasLegends and I've well over a hundred. Which is actually more than Optimus. Or Luke. Or even bloody Vader.

Even World Champ Pretender Boba Fett - despite his recent efforts to look slightly different from scene to scene in his own Series can't compete.

At least in terms of "He's got a new hat!" IM is more like Optimus than Vader - they usually have to do something that makes one iteration a bit different to the last, but basically it's still just a Red&Gold Robot suit like they all are. This one is Alex Ross derived......as if that means anything.

So, in summary: An Iron Man.

*And do you REALLY need any more. Not a question.

As Dusty is likely to come out this year I've decided I will get him, but after that it's whenever Stalker escapes the Global Shipping Snafu and I can call a Line done. That will be surprisingly satisfying in a World of It Never Ends.

Got my Professionals box set in the post yesterday afternoon and discovered I'd bought the box set intended for the Dutch market but it works OK, I just had to adjust the language settings. Unexpected highlight during one of the first episodes I watched was Rebecca ferret emerging from her snoozing spot and attempting to stick her head in my bag of Maltesers :D

Looking down the episode list confirmed the KKK episode is on there which I have seen once before many years ago. It was deemed bad enough to be banned from airing anywhere on UK TV until about 1992 so wouldn't stand a chance today.

Like the rest of the series it's a product of it's time and I'll take it as such.

Iron Man figures = I've got quite a few official and KO Lego minifigures in storage boxes with other Marvel characters plus Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary, Silver Centurion and Deluxe War Machine.

At various points I had Hot Toys versions of the Mark I, II, III (diecast), IV, VI, VII and 42 (diecast) and the first War Machine but resold to fund other things.

The only Iron Man I may get in the future is the MAFEX one but it's some way down the list as a few other characters are taking priority.

The character I probably have the most of at the moment is Rocket Raccoon thanks to buying far too many Funkos and other random items during the aftermath of the first GOTG movie :D

    @Divebomb,
    Thanks! :)
