Yes,It's one of those "Never going to Happen things",but contrary to that being said, I utterly Concur, I'd sh¤t my self if it ever did become a reality !!, And I highly doubt it wouldn't be on any G1ers Pick Up List?,along Side any Conpletionist and so on.It's a Novelty of sorts,Interesting ect , I agree with many others in regards to "NOT ANOTHER ARCEE",But this is an absolute exception. .

♤♧THIS!♧♤>-- I'd buy them Separately (Which would work best),or together ...My feelings (among other things)pertaining to G1 ARCEE are shared with G1 UNICRON..Imo any way..A lot could care less, but Many many would be a green Light with theses figures..

Other Fans are entitled to special little Nods such as a major Character finally receiving a Toy (With shared engineering to its Comrades,be it when ever it may have been?),I have NO DOUBTS at all that by the end of it, MOST fans would feel appeased, in some way or another..hopefully.lol.
That said, MY DREAM FIGURES would be ENCORE'S to MONSTRUCTOR, a HASBRO release of G1 LIOKAISER,G1 RAYDEN, G1 ROAD CAESAR, G1 LANDCROSS,..as well as BEAST WARS Second MAGNABOSS 2, GOD NEPTUNE and TRIPLEDACUS..with all that said , HASLAB could give us actual MODERNIZED ,Legit PRETENDERS !?,Test the Waters on the Concept?,and with Such , give us G1 PRETENDER MONSTERS*MONSTRUCTOR*?!,IT Would/Could make a very lot of People Happy Campers, Simultaneously test the waters , Shut a whole hell of a lot of People up (My Self included,lol),possibly Create NEW PRETENDER FANS?,And acknowledge /Touch base/and give a Nod to an older portion of the TRANSFORMERS LORE,FAMILY TREE Ect ect.. just thinking of a Modern Pretender Monsters MONSTRUCTOR shoots my body into Orbit and gives me the tingles.. PLEASE HASBRO? GIVE US THESE THINGS PLEASE?
Also, one last thing.. Molds are Expensive, so that being said ,HASLAB could make a whole hell of a lot of FANS beyond HAPPY,and FINALLY Release the Canceled G2 ¤STUNTICONS¤ With G2 BREAKDOWN's colors muted,rearranged?,as well as release the LONG LOST G2 ¤PROTECTOBOTS¤ ?,YES and PLEASE?
I hope HASLAB continues to put Smiles on Fellow Transfans Faces ...MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE, And may you have an EPIC NEW YEARS?,Everyone ELSE-HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Do you guys think that there’ll be another Haslab this year? I mean Marvel did Sentinel and Galactus in back to back years. GI Joe is doing one less than a year after their last. What’re the odds we see one at some point?

 

I say slim. Maybe something in December. Maybe. I feel like the franchise has sorta cooled right now (partially because the release of new figures is still slow and partially because we don't have a big revival like Beast Wars to really excite the fandom).

But you never know. I'm assuming that Hasbro has a better picture of the current level of excitement in the fandom based on sales figures. I'm down for more TF HasLabs (though, I would very likely skip a Shattered Glass Haslab.)

 

Well it was two years between the Unicron and Victory Saber HasLabs. I think it takes more time to design a transformer figure than it does any of the other brands since it has to be multiple things in one package. If they do a new one I think it will be a character that won't really fit at any price point, like Liokaiser, Railracer, or even Tidal Wave

 

Given the leaks I could see them capitalizing on the excitement that’ll come from next year for sure.

Oh yeah for sure… though I’d be surprised if they weren’t already working on the next Haslab figure around the VS campaign. I do think two years is a good amount of time between them. Tbh looking at my wallet I’d be fine not seeing one til next year lol.

 

Agree with the above - I assume Hasbro was asking the design team to start working on ideas for another HasLab by the time Star Saber hit his second stretch goal - that's not to say one was chosen or went into design work that early, but I'm also betting the design team had been thinking about next options, anyway (Mark and Evan both seem like they have long lists of ideas for all price points at all times). It's just a matter of how long it took everyone to get on board with one idea, then how complex that idea is to implement. For example, Liokaiser [with 6 (or 7!) individual triple changing robots plus breastmasters] is much more complicated than God Ginrai [similar complexity to SS], who is more complicated than Tidal Wave (just to pick some obvious exemplars of options). If the brand team quickly came to a decision on a medium or low complexity design, I could see us getting a fall TF HasLab ...

 

The only other possible HasLab I can think of is a new Metroplex with all the bells and whistles. Announce it next year and have it be done in time for the 40th like how the last G1 Metroplex was done for the 30th.

 

Yeah, I’m in agreement with the rest. I’m thinking if we get another TF HasLab it probably won’t be until next spring or summer at the earliest. By then Star Saber will have released and hype might be building for the brand with marketing of the new film being in full swing.

 

That just made me think, what if the next HasLab has something to do with Studio Series? So far I have seen people speculate about getting a character from every show or comic but none from the live action films. They could end up going that way with it.

 

What about Armada Optimus with Jetfire and Overload as the next Haslab project?

 

I... would like that. But I also think it's almost guaranteed that Armada Optimus is coming out in the mainline next year because we now know Armada Megs exists. I think it's a safe bet that next year's commander class figure is a fully loaded Armada Optimus.

I was thinking how Jetfire and Overload could be a neat Haslab project that would compliment a Legacy Commander Armada Optimus but I'm not sure just those two characters would have broad enough appeal.

But who knows. Maybe we'll get a "trailer-less" voyager Armada Optimus figure next year and the Haslab would be Armada OP with trailer, Jetfire and Overload. I'm down for anything. I want it all.

 

Oh I know. Armada Optimus is happening, but are Jetfire and Overload?

I want all three, but we pretty much have learned that next years Leader Class assortment is going to be Skyquake, Megatron, and a bunch of repacks, so no leader Jetfire or Overload.

 

They'll happen just who know's if it's next year or the year after.

 

I don’t see Armada Prime happening next year as Hasbro has been sticking to one new mold for Prime and Megs per year for the last 4 years now. Leo Prime basically fills that spot. I’m thinking 2024 for the 40th to act as the big centerpiece of the anniversary line

 

Honestly, I think it's more likely that Optimus is the commander with Jetfire as the third leader and Overload coming in 2024. People would flip their shit if Prime was mainline and his combiner pals were HasLab.

 

At the risk of getting an avalanche of Earthrise Arcees thrown at me, I don’t think Hasbro considers Lio Convoy a “proper” Prime. I could be wrong. I just think Hasbro would more likely pair Armada Megs with Armada Prime. But Hasbro is unpredictable nowadays. Who knows.
